Closest to white light in an incandesent bulb that you can buy. Only LEDs will give you a whiter light. These work great in my NB Miata's fog lights.

white as an LED, but much brighter. Most LEDS although white, are not very bright, like say HDL, but these are as white as LED's without sacrificing brightness.

I have a 2005 350Z and bought this light bulbs hoping to get great quality and brighter lights. The brightness of the bulbs are what I was expecting, but not even four months after installing them one light bulb stop working! Not worth it.

I received the bulbs very quickly which was a plus. The actually package which held the bulb was stuffed with bubble wrap inside which seemed fishy but then again maybe they opened the package and filled it for precaution. I unwrapped the bulbs and one had a piece of hair that was stuck to the bulb by something sticky which makes me think these bulbs aren’t genuine and/or used. Installed the bulbs without touching then with my fingers and they seem just alright, nothing special, a nice white color but nothing bright like the other reviews state. I'm not very happy with this purchase.

True to color temperature @ 5K. Best halogen HID look. I even compared it to my HID low beams @ 4.3K and the Diamonds were more white the true HIDs. Forget about Silverstar's XLE. Get a Diamond!! Picture shows my High beams as diamonds.

I've been researching different options to switch out my fog lights to match my 6000k projectors as close as possible and finally decided to go with these 5000k halogen H1 bulbs. They don't make a higher Kelvin halogen bulb that is street legal and Philips is also a reputable brand. These WILL NOT improve the visibility compared to the OEM but I'm okay with that as they are not my primary lights. It falsely advertises when it says these bulbs will give a blue light as I didn't see any blue on the projected surface nor looking straight into the housing.
