Slightly Course Feeling
The bristles on the shaving brush feel a bit rougher than those on my husband’s old lathering brush, but it does look nice in the bathroom with his shaving gear. Makes a good Father’s Day gift along with other manly things like mustache wax.

A comfortable brush
I really like this brush. It provides a very comfortable shaving experience and feels easy to use and maintain. The bristles are nice and soft, yet still firm enough to get the job done well. It feels gentle on the skin without being too scritchy or irritating and lathers really well. It's easy to wash and clean afterwards too. All in all, a great brush.

As Good, or Better Than, Much More Expensive Options
I switched to shaving with a mug and a brush 20 years ago, and never looked back. During that time, I’ve bought a lot (and I do mean a *lot*) shaving gear, to include a number of brushes. The Death Grip brush is as good as any I’ve ever used, even the $75+ Art of Shaving brush I picked up years ago. It makes and holds lather really well, feels soft against the face, and it only shed a few bristles on first use. It has not shed any, since.Interestingly, the knot is a little larger than most shaving brushes you will find, though this also means the base is a little thicker and might not fit your shaving brush stand, if you use one (I do). The handle is also a little longer than the average shaving brush, but only a little (see my photo with a size comparison next to the AoS and Perfecto brushes). It doesn’t feel awkward in the hand. It’s just a little different. The logo laser engraved into the base is a nice touch, though so shallow as to be barely visible. Unlike most brushes, the handle is not lacquered or polyurethaned, so you’ll feel the woodgrain as you use it. I don’t know if that will shorten the life of the brush or not. Probably not. But it feels nice. It’s also worth mentioning that the tube the brush comes in is very nice, with a gold foil logo, which makes for nice presentation if you were to give this as a gift.Ultimately what matters is performance, and this brush does very well. It might be a little too large to use with a travel mug, but is fine with a full-size version. As stated, it makes lather well, is very soft against the face, and works exactly as expected. It’s a great brush for the price. No, it’s a great brush, period, and a good candidate to be your primary.

Doesn’t retain water or lather well
I use synthetic brushes instead of real badger fur. This synthetic brush does the work but feels thin and doesn’t lather well. Also had an odd smell that I didn’t enjoy. Works to lather, just needs some elbow grease.

High-quality shaving cream brush
This shaving cream brush is very well-made. The handle is beautifully designed, and the brushes feel very good quality. The bottom has an engraving of the logo. It comes in a nice storage tube for Travel,. The bristles are stiff but soft and apply shaving cream well. Over all this is such a great design and would make an awesome gift for yourself or someone else.

Pretty good quality brush overall
My shaving brush is fairly old and worn so I decided to try a new one. Just based on appearances this brush looks like a pretty good quality product. The engraved end on the handle is a cool feature. I think the tube is a really clever idea for protection when traveling so I'm definitely hanging on to that. So far in my uses of the brush I find that it lathers pretty well. For me the overall feel is decent but it definitely feels more coarse than my old one. I will say that it doesn't feel like the entire brush is extra coarse, to me it almost feels like there's a handful of extra prickly hairs dispersed within the brush. I do have somewhat sensitive skin so maybe I'm just too picky.
