Cabin Max Barcelona 20 X 16 X 8" Carry on Luggage Backpack

We returned this item and its green companion because the color was much more saturated (to our eyes) than it appeared on the screen and because the straps are not detachable. While that _could_ be better than the Malaga from a durability point of view (assuming they're well-sewn) we were concerned it would be worse from the perspective of stowing it in an overhead bin without catching on things. Otherwise, it appears to be a decent enough bag, similar in quality to my other Cabin Max backpack (the Malaga, no longer available in backpack form last I checked; reviewed earlier on Amazon.) For this reason I gave it the same 3-star review I gave the Malaga, despite not having field-tested it.Would recommend for:- those needing a bag that can fit strict size parameters- those who aren't planning to carry it exceptionally far (design is similar enough to Malaga that it probably isn't the most comfortable to carry fully loaded)- those who don't mind not being able to stow the straps.

Good for travelling with the cheapo airlines, especially in Europe. The problem is, though you can pack a lot in that small space, the bag isn't made sturdily enough to carry much weight. And I'm not talking about a bag full of bricks, just a bag full of clothes and a couple small electronics. Within a few days of travelling, the handles were tearing and I had to be very careful with it for the rest of the trip. Probably won't use it after that one two-week trip.

Great design I took this backpack all over SE Asia backpacking and this bag held up though thick and thin. If you are a backpacker this is a great option, I would use skiplagged to find flights which sometimes did not allow a checked luggage so a carry on like this was perfect.A++++

used on very harsh conditions and sustained the test, its somewhat resistent on its first use (14 days through rain, outdoor and airports; the size is very convenient even for a 130 pounds to carry with minor tumbling in crownds and room for two weeks clothing for two persons.the fifth star would be an extra layer or a pad for the back (kidney support?)

So I got bag because it is the measurements allowed by airlines as carry on. For the price I expected better stitching. The back straps are holding on pretty good considering some of the stitching on part of the bag came apart. Would have to request manufacturer to improve stitching material or stitch pattern.Hey, manufacturer can suggest I do not fill up the bag so much and keep it very light?This is not a high quality product but should last a few years.

Great size. Perfect for traveling in Airlines that are really strict about what you can carry. Do not pack heavy things on it because it can be very heavy to carry in your shoulders across an airport.

This was great when I backpacked through London, Barcelona, and Italy. Holds a lot! Pretty much a carry on suitcase in a backpack. Never had a problem on Delta Airlines or RyanAir. Watch the weight limit, though!

I bought it for a recent trip on Flybe and Easy Jet. I was on a four day trip and didn't want to check a bag. It was perfect for the use. I didn't expect anything fancy, but it does the job. The only addition I wish it had is a couple of additional internal pockets. There is only one in the front flap, which makes the flap bulky and unwieldy when opening the bag. But, overall, good product.

Very well made and can take a beating. I would buy again.

Does what it is supposed to do. Not fancy in any way or much in the way of pockets, but it is very light and can hold a lot

size is good for most all airlines, only compliant is one of the side straps let go after second use, other than that has travelled quite often since purchased
