I wanted a nice beach hat with a chin strap attached and it was between this one or the Furtalk brand one. I like simple plain straw hats with a black bow. The bow on this one is more flattering and the Furtalk one was more rigid (straw was thicker). As a result this hat looked better on me and the chin strap is very comfortable, I barely feel it's there. As another reviewer mentioned, due to the chin strap, the ribbon will be on your side. I actually think it looks cute that way. If you want it on your back, you will need to get rid of the chin strap or adjust the strap.

I thought the hat fit well, but was disappointed to find that the elastic strap arrived broken, which meant that I cannot use this hat on windy days. I needed it for a trip that I was taking immediately after it was delivered, so I had no time to return it. Also, note, as others do in their reviews, that the hat is shaped so that the bow is to the side and NOT to the back as pictured. It is also designed to sit back on your head so that the brim hits your shoulders as you move your head.

I bought two of these as I can't have any sun on me for medical reasons. I personally think these hats are adorable and I love the bow.

This hat is of perfect fit and size. You can dress it up or down. May buy in different color in near future

I finally found a sun hat that fits my small had. Thanks to the string within the hat. I adjusted it tighter to fit my head with no problem.I'm not really into Bows, but just gotta act like it's not even there, is all. I believe I bought the brown one in color. It's got a good wide brim on it, helps keep the sun out of my face and eyes. Oh yeah and the back of your neck ladies too.

I find the fit a little large (my head is pretty average for a woman), but the little ribbon on the inside definitely works to improve the fit. It takes a few attempts at adjusting the tie of the ribbon to get it right, but it seems to stay where I set it (I tie a little bow).I like the black bow and how it stays put, and I like the overall look - it's just like pictured. It was a little dented coming out of the box but that's been getting better with wearing it a few days (got the hat a week ago).

I love this hat, it’s adorable on and the brim is just right. The brim is wide enough to protect my eyes and face. A great value; the adjustable hat band should be in all hats. The chin strap will be tucked inside the had in case I need to use it.

I bought this hat on 8/10 for my trip on 9/12. I didn't check for the quality of it until my trip. That is when I saw a losing thread and it kept coming out that the whole hat falling a part and I had not worn this hat at all. By that time, I already passed the "return window" which is 9/9. I attached the picture. Can you send me a new hat? Thanks, Emily
