These shelves, in black, look so much better than I expected and when mounted on a bright white wall they just pop.The instructions were okay, but even without them it would have been simple to install with a quick review of the listing, just to see what goes where. The shelves are very light, but if you use the screw plugs then they won't budge when they are attached to the wall.The set has proved to be a novel way of installing a vanity mirror and extra space on which to put books, thereby freeing up the bedside table. I'd personally knock a couple of pounds off for the set, but otherwise, I think the price is all right for what you get.

I got these for my sons room where he wanted some discreet shelving that was also white. They are well made and come well packages with all the fittings that you need.I was going to knock 1 star off for the rails as they are gold but considering the overall quality of the item I think this would be unfair as it is only my point of view and does not reflect on the overall design and sturdiness of the shelving.So in conclusion of you want some shelving that should last a while and is unobtrusive then I would recommend these.

These are nice looking white shelves made from soft paulownia wood, which is know for it's lightweight but sturdy material. Don't be fooled by how light it is, it's still plenty strong enough!These are true floating shelves as you will not see the hardware (which is included) which I prefer. The metal support I am not sure about yet, these seem a little flimsy but they do the job well enough.Price is a little on the steep side though, but recommended anyway.
