Kingston KCP424SS8/8 8 GB DDR4 2400MHz SODIMM Memory Module - Green

I have the 2017 iMac with 27 inch screen. Straight from Apple it came with 8Gb of Emory. Using Lightroom and any other programme the machine was slow and I even mentioned to my Apple dealer that my old iMac seemed to work faster. The answer was to add more memory. I purchased 2 x 8Gb so in all I now have 24 GB of memory installed. The iMac is pretty easy to upgrade and after a little hesitation I went about the task and within a few minutes the computer was up and running faster and better than ever. I upgraded with 2 x 8Gb Kingston memory cards. If you go to the Kingston site you follow their guides and hey presto you are give the right choice for your computer with the choice of buying the memory direct or through Amazon or another supplier. I, of course, chose Amazon. The cost of the upgrade is about 1/3rd of the price of having Apple add that memory when you buy the computer. Why I ask. Anyways, excellent upgrade, fast delivery and I am a happy bunny.

Bought as a larger capacity and cheaper alternative to Synology RAM for use in my ds420+. Easy to install thanks to toolless apertures on the Nas. Recognized by the Nas without issue, though the Nas will display a message at startup saying it's not "official" Synology RAM. Has been running flawlessly for the last 2 weeks, with surveillance station + 4 cameras, media server and a bunch of other containers on the Nas and had no issues at all.

my laptop initially had 4 gb of inbuilt ram. then I added this 8 more gigs and now its significantly fast. absolutely happy.

Contacted Kingston for compatibility and proved to be good advice. This is working okay, but quite expensive but seems to make activities that bit faster

great iteam made my lap top open programs faster then with the 4 gb that come with my HP lap top come with ring up the rams makers up make sure I got right model number of ram for my lap top. but I am real pleased with how its working couple narrow seconds fast opening up web pages and documents also booting up a touch faster. great result

Can't go wrong with Kingston. Use their website to be sure it's the correct type.

This is for those having confusion in dimension size. The dimensions size is wrong in description . It says 5*10*1 cm by actually the size for all the ram for laptop are same and have standard size of 6.86*2.86 cm . So don't worry and order it.

Stock RAM at 2GB is a bit tight ... A couple of these and you can run a few vms and it already felt smoother dealing with large file transfers.

Funcionan de maravilla, las reconoce a la primera y eso que cambié las de origen de banco. 4+4+8+8=24 GB suficiente para trabajar con varias aplicaciones a la vez. Servicio de Amazon estupendo como siempre. Recomendable 100% para iMac. Los que tengáis un iMac retina 27" 2017 con un procesador i5 a 3,4 GHz, sabed que solo admite 32 GB, no gastéis de mas para nada. Saludos cordiales.

Excelente producto recomendado para los que tienen windows 10 ya que usa mucha memoria Ram.
