good upgrade for the Bambu X1
I picked this up after I wore out 2 sets of the original Bambu gear drive sets, it seems like it'll be more durable, and moves a lot more freely than the stock one, the machined metal feels like good quality materials.It perfectly fits in place of the stock one, so installation was easy, I have had improvements to print quality since installing it, but that is likely because of how worn out my old one was.

Be Careful!
After a month of not even heavy use, using mostly PLA, ASA, very little PA6CF12, this has started to disintegrate in my P1S. Worked fine for a month but started getting filament not coming out during printing. Pulled the extruder/hotend apart and there is fine metal particles all over, matching the same color of these gears (gold color). Hoping it didn't mess up the gear that is on the back of the extruder. Do yourself a favor and buy actual Bambu Lab Hardened Extruder if you really need it. Between this and the 'Panda Touch' (constantly freezing and rebooting), I'm leery of BIQU parts going forward. The "Lux" (light) is the only thing that was hard to mess up...

works, is it better than the one you can get from bambu ? I have both and wouldn't say one is better than the other. This one feels like better hardware

Reliable extruder gear
Heat creep hasn’t been a issue with this product and after quite a few months of use its held up great and overall it’s very good for the price

Working great after a few months.
This is after a few months of usage, no problems at all. I don't have enough data to say it's better than OEM, but it's a very functional replacement.

Terrible upgrade, It will damage your printer after a couple months.
Stay far away, never had any issues with my extruder but wanted to upgrade. Worked ok for a couple months but now having issues with gear skipping and it wont extrude, put stock part back in and it works prefect. I would stay away from any products from this company as the hot end also gave me nothing but issues. Luckly I returned that within the return period. Biggest take away: BUY OEM ONLY. There is a reason they only use plastic for the main drive gear don't ruin your machine over false clams of making printer better.
