I have previously fitted another Fordeson Chandelier and had a few problems with the fitting, so I was somewhat apprehensive about fitting this double rectangle.So with the knowledge gained I made sure all the wiring was not tangled when removing the light from the box, luckily this had only half the wiring of the previous one which was square... Fitting the mounting bracket was still awkward, as it only had enough space for 1 cable to pass through easily, my wiring has 3, so with some cussing I squeezed the cabling through the bracket, ready to connect up with the light...With a helper holding the lights high enough to allow me to connect the wiring, once done and you fit the ceiling tray, it is time to adjust the height of the LED rectangle, making sure the lower Rectangle power cable is on the inside of the bigger Rectangle...To adjust it to your desired height, you simply feed the wiring into the ceiling tray, until you are satisfied with the height and level of the biggest Rectangle, you then repeat for the smaller Rectangle.Time to switch on, now I am a fan of the Cool White as opposed to Warm White, and the light when first switched on de-faults to Cool White Max, so that's the job done, but you get a small remote which allows you to alter the colour and temperature to your desire...Once up and correctly aligned, it looks smart, and the LED lights are very impressive.

This chandelier light is very modern, not something that is of a standard look or design, but is very effective in what it's designed to do, illuminate your room, but in style.Once installed, it looks absolutely gorgeous on the ceiling, especially with the centrally mounted rose plate as such that feeds each of the lights.The build quality of each light is tremendous, very well polished and neatly built acrylic into the aluminium framework. Even though the build quality is great, there is a certain level of delicacy with the design and it's not for the wanna be DIY enthusiast to install, especially with the price mark of just shy of the current price of £190, it's certainly worth you getting a professional installer to carry out this installation, as you'd want it to not only work, but also look right once installed.I have installed lights myself, but even I got my regular sparky to install this just to be on the safe side.The ability to control the lighting from your remote is great, with being able to alter the temperature to suit your mood or environment to late nights in with a glass of wine and dimmed lights.The room where I installed this is approx 6 meters square with a ceiling height of just under 5 meters and at full brightness, it really does light up the room. I guess if the room was larger, it would still adequately illuminate the room.
