Totally cool.. in the advertising picture you can’t really tell..or maybe I’m late to the party ..it’s a wolf that turns into a dragon .. or am I trippin? Is there more?Knife is sharp, pattern is lovely, knife flicks open easily…closes well, feels nice in hand... it’s a gift for someone.

Very well made knife!
What a beautiful pattern on this Damascus blade! Clear and distinct pattern, worth showing off. The edge is extremely sharp and there are no nicks or imperfections on the blade. The bolsters are finely engraved with a pleasing pattern and have no sharp edges or imperfections. Smooth operation of this knife is amazing! Open and closes easily; with a flick of the finger it snaps open and locks solidly. Very safe and secure. The Rosewood handle has a very nice contour that fits the hand well. Very smooth finish with a decorative insert. You have a good solid grip while using. It isn't perfectly balanced, but I wouldn't throw this knife anyway. The leather sheath is also well made and is fit for this knife. It has a beautifully tooled pattern with an ornate snap installed. The stitching was made to last; no worries about falling apart. Coloring and finish of the leather is truly outstanding!I really like this knife and sheath! The price for this knife is amazing as well. Excellent!

Fits comfortably in the hand, smooth operation, very sharp
This knife looks so fancy and sort of fat, it looks like a toy to me. But it's very real. It's comfortable to hold and the action on the blade works easily opening and closing, maybe ball bearing. You can flip it part way open with your finger, then grab the opening at the base of the blade to pull it the rest of the way open. To close it is the liner lock I always find a little annoying because I have to put my finger in the path of the blade to push the lock aside, but this is easer than most because there is a big grippy place to push on.At first I thought the knife wasn't sharpened, the blade felt very smooth. Until I tried cutting some things, and they sliced right open. Deceptively sharp on arrival, be careful. It comes with a thick leather pouch. It's a big beefy knife, but it's very light. I wouldn't use it for everyday carry because it would take up too much space in my pocket and I don't wear a belt. But around the house and for special occasions, it's a very good knife, and easier to use because it's big and light.

Nice Knife...If You Get A Good One
UPDATE:The seller contacted me after seeing my review. They were apologetic and wanted to send me a replacement knife so I accepted. They did not ask me to change my rating or amend my review. Five stars for customer service. My replacement knife is much better cosmetically. There are still a few air bubbles but they are small and only noticeable when looking up close. There is an issue though. The action of opening and closing the blade is not smooth. With my original knife, a flick of the finger flipper snaps the blade open into the locked position quickly and smoothly, every time. When I fold it back up, the blade firmly snaps back into the handle. When I flick the flipper on the new knife, it opens about 3/4 of the way and stops. I then have to put in the locked position with the flick of the wrist or with my other hand. When I fold it back, the blade doesn't snap into the handle. What I ended up doing is removing the abalone plates from the new knife and put them on the original. They are just held on by two screws. I now have a knife I'm happy with. It just took two knives to make one good one.I see there is one with a wood handle now. You may have less cosmetic issues with that one. I could still recommend getting this knife if it really interests you. Only because if you have an issue with it, the seller will take care of you if you contact them.ORIGINAL REVIEW:This knife either slipped through the quality assurance check or there is no QA, which is very likely. The handle on this knife looks absolutely awful. There are bubbles in the resin. One of them is huge and discolored. There's another spot where it looks like it was burnt or something. It's also covered in scratches. The blade looks like it's been acid etched. I knew this wasn't going to be real Damascus steel so I'm ok with that. There's a black residue (oxidation from acid etching) in some areas that rubs off really easily. You can really see it on the flipper tab in my photo. I just ended wiping all the black off after I took the photos. It came back after a while, just not as dark. I looks good. I like the patterns. The blade is very sharp. Opening and closing it is smooth. The knife itself feels strong and sturdy. The included leather case is nice. I believe it's real as it smells like genuine leather.I super disappointed with this. It could be a really nice looking knife but the handle ruins it. You would think a company producing an ornate knife who's main selling point is it's looks would do a better job.

One of the best looking knifes I have ever seen
This is a great looking knife that is also very sharp and cuts well. What more do you want in a knife. This knife is larger than the knife I usually carry every day so it will be used more for camping trips than for daily use.The abalone shell handle is fantastic as is the Damascus steel blade. I haven't used it a lot, but I expect it to hold a sharp edge for a long time. I am very happy with this knife and expect to get many years of use from it.

Abalone handles have quality issues
first knife i received had visible bubbles in the clear plastic covering the abalone handles . i requested a replacement and received it a day later. However, the replacement knife had abalone handles that were very plain and dull looking with very little detail. Evidently, the manufacturing company is incapable of producing consistently nice looking handles. I don't have time to keep requesting replacements and returning the old ones. To get a respectable looking knife is really just the luck of the draw. Also, the blade is VERY thin.

outstanding pocket knife
This Damascus pocket knife is exceptional! The craftsmanship is top-notch, with a stunning blade pattern that showcases its quality. It feels solid and well-balanced in hand, perfect for everyday use or as a collector's item. The leather sheath is a standout feature—sturdy, stylish, and practical for carrying. Highly recommend this knife for anyone who values quality and aesthetics in their tools.
