I bought two of these switches and I am so satisfied by them, I used them in a 220V water heater and a 220V mini split AC. They are very easy to install, you can see the instructions, or find tutorials on youtube. Once installed the functions are great, the 40 gallon water heater didn't have an on/off switch so this gave me one, the mini split did have an on/off switch but I came up with a surprise, when I started using the power consumption feature on the switch I noticed that the mini split has a 10 whatt vampire power waste when it is turned off, these switch lets me turn it off completely and save that power. The consumption on the water heater is about 13 Kilo Whatt per day on a home of six people, so now I can compare the cost of that power use against the cost of the gas water heater that I had before, but the greatest thing is that I can now program the water heater to turn off in the middle of the night so it doesn't spend any power at night when nobody is going to use the shower. Anyway, these are great if you have 220V appliances at home.

I installed outdoor plugs for my Christmas lights and used this relay to control. It's perfect and allows me to also check the wattage so that I don't overload the circuit. The app was easy to setup and works well with Alexa. I have suggested it to many others so far.

If you mount this switch in a metal box then the wifi isn't working anymore.The switch works great but now you need to install another app on the phone.
