Black Myth: Wukong - PS5

A great way to interact with Chinese mythology directly. There are other stories but this is the one they like the most so they made a game out of it. Great as a game AND a great way to enjoy Chinese mythology.

The game is great with a good blend of exploration, upgrades and experience. you will find that at some points you have to change strategy or get more experience before continuing. My only criticism is that there are so many secret parts, quests and items that its very easy to miss some massive items or upgrades (thank god for the internet) but apart from that slight niggle, i would highly recommend it

Amazing game, with greys combat, it feels like a cross between god of war and souls games. 10/10 I hope they bring out dlc

Honestly this game got me back to gaming. Even though I have only played 2 hours so far, I am already wondering when I can get time to play the game!The monsters I have been up against so far have been interesting and have cool designs. It's not as hard as other souls like games so far (I'm sure I'll regret that later), but still enough of a challenge to casual gamer like me where I feel victorious up against a Yaoguai.Sure the graphics aren't the best and even in performance mode the frames targets 60fps not locked. But, I am enjoying it. Definitely worth the wait for this physical one in comparison to the digital one.

I'm sure the developers of this game would like most of the reviews to be about " how beautiful and rich each of the new locations are " or "how unique and varied each of the enemies you encounter are"But unfortunately due to the very difficult learning curve of this game ( pretty much from the start ) most casual gamers like me will not be finding out about most of the game as like me you will stop playing it very early on.The game is primarily Boss fight after Boss fight with a little bit of traversing in between with some minor enemies thrown in.If you like spending hours and hours trying to learn a Bosses moves before you finally defeat it, then this is the game for you.Personally I think the developers have got the balance of Engaging and Enjoyable wrong.There is NO difficulty adjustment setting.Why the developers of games force people into playing their game a certain way is beyond me.I'd imagine most casual gamers like me have normal lives ( a job, relationship, a family ) and just want a couple of hours a night or week defeating "Baddies" and then moving on to the next cool looking level.If this is you then I recommend buying a different game.
