Superbly researched and expertly written by an author at the top of his game. Max Williams has done anyone interested in the Third Reich in general, and Heydrich in particular, a great service with this masterful work. Scholarly, yet easily accessible to the general reader, this book shows Heydrich in all his appalling, twisted life and world view. The photographic section is a priceless record of Heydrich's life and death. The written section is a fantastic, albeit brief, biography of the man sometimes also known as Hitler's Hangman. Together with Williams' other monumental works on Himmler and Globocnik this book makes one eager for his next offering. Highly recommended - superb!

This book is good. It is interesting, well written and concise, and contains a wealth of information on Heydrich's life. The photographs are well researched, and there are a number I've never seen before. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, and the book is now on my reference shelf.

Just received my copy of Heydrich by Max Williams and just like his book on Himmler it looks excellent with plenty of excellent photographs and interesting text. Can't wait to start reading a book which looks great

One of the best books I have read covering not just Heydrich but the atrocities carried out under the Final Solution.Clearly a lot of research has gone into this subject.Highly recommended.

Heydrich's life is well written here, from his youth to his death.
