I've only used this once, but it worked as expected. Item arrived quickly, nicely packaged in a box suitable for gifting. Powered on out of the box with no setup. I purchased this item for two reasons:1) I had three digital meat thermometers, and testing all three in the same piece of meat yielded results that differed by as much as 15 degrees; therefore, I questioned their accuracy and wanted something better; and, 2) this item had reasonable, if not glowing, reviews by serious cooks on other sites. The price was right, too. After using the thermometer to gauge the temp of a prime rib, the roast was perfect at the registered 135 degrees when pulled from the oven. Does what I need it to do, and am very satisfied. Like I said, I've only used it once, but would recommend.After six months of use, I am still satisfied with this purchase. It is fast, accurate and easy to use. The temp readout is big enough to be seen by my senior citizen eyes, but controls for centigrade/fahrenheit, hold and max/min temp require glasses. I rarely use those buttons, so it's not a big deal. Auto off is a great feature since you don't have to close the used thermometer to turn it off before wiping it down. Would recommend.

This is my second thermoneter! Husband broke the last one! (Trust me, not the product being easy to break. More the husband being easily distracted)! I love it. Read is fast. Easy to clean and store.

Really slow to react. Dubious accuracy.We aren't big fans and we'll know to stick to a name brand next time.

Great little device, turns on and off as you open and close it. It has immensely helped me get my meats to exactly the right temperature and even helped when my wife was baking a cake. Definitely would buy again.

Very easy to use. Readout is very fast. Can’t rate battery yet. Label about what the temperature should be is very handy, I can never remember them. The best meat thermometer I have used.

Lasted 2 days and quit. Get what you pay for but in this case not worth $0.10
