Best ear plugs tried!
These ear plugs are brilliant! I bought them as I was fed up with my previous foam ear plugs as they kept falling out and were uncomfortable. I've used these silicone ear plugs for the last two nights and they've been really comfortable (I can't feel them at all), they've stayed in all night andhave provided good sound reduction. I was a bit worried as some reviews mentioned that they are sticky and get caught in your hair but I have long hair and I haven't found this to be a problem. I have used one ball for each ear which works well. I've squashed it gently onto the ear opening and have spread the edges out so that the entrance is completely covered. I would totally recommend this product and I will be sticking with this brand and type in the future.

Comfortable and effective.
Have used foam earplugs for years, but so glad i changed to these ones. Much more comfortable, and have ordered more. Would definitely recommend. Handy little box to keep them in as well.

Effective and versatile ear plugs
These are the best ear-plugs I have found because you can mould them exactly to your individual ear shape and they come in a useful container. However, for best comfort and effect, I advise ignoring all four of the manufacturers' instructions. 1. If the balls are too big for your ears, DO pinch off a bit. I have average size male ears and find that two of their balls make three of my earplugs. As they are supplied, they are too big and hurt my ears if I lie on them on the pillow. Many women will get two plugs out of each ball. Obvs you should make them big enough to actually block the outer ear canal rather than slip inside, but it also deadens more sound if you fashion a slight cone shape with the silicone (rather than a ball) so that the plug has a good depth and doesn't fall out. For the same reasons, DO push firmly in! All ears are different sizes and shapes, but a little experimentation will tell you how much silicone works best for your ears. 2. DO re-mould and re-use the plugs until they have lost their flexibility, otherwise they would be ridiculously expensive and wasteful. I usually get 10-15 wears out of each one, more if I keep them fresh by storing them in their case.I find these plugs completely block hearing speech sounds in the same room, and deaden mainly higher pitched outside noise. Car doors being slammed out on the street still get through, as do bass sounds from speaker systems, but still these plugs offer some relief. And the plastic cases are very useful and long-lasting!

Block out more than any other kind of earplug.
As someone with both sensitive ears and sound processing issues, I've tried a lot of earplugs, and in that quite extensive experience, I've found that this silicon gum kind blocks out by far the most noise. I've had to have a couple of MRI scans, which are exceptionally loud, and these earplugs (along with keeping my eyes shut the whole time I was inside) made them bearable. I prefer this brand in particular because a) my ears are on the small side and some of the others are a little too chunky for me to comfortably wear, and b) they are by far the best value for money. I've only ever seen three pairs in the others, and they cost more for those three pairs, too!

Great earplugs
These ear plugs work really well and are very comfortable. I use them for about a week before replacing. Make sure you use a whole one, as per the instructions, don’t be tempted to split one as it might get stuck in your ear canal. Take one plug and warm in between your palms before putting and moulding in your ear. The only thing is that I have long hair and I find that hairs sometimes get stuck in the wax, although easily removed.

Moldable ear plugs
Item received as described, they can be molded into whichever shape desired. Even though it says not recommended to use as cone shape, I find that, having them moulded slightly into a coffee shape works fast better then using them as a ball. Because when they are used as a ball and then shaped around the air, they do not really block out enough sound.

!! DANGEROUS!! DO NOT USE!! DO NOT BUY!!
I used these plugs for a few months with no issue; indeed they were the best fitting plugs I'd tried and stayed in place all night most nights...until last week! One plug had migrated into my ear canal overnight. With immediate deafness in that ear I headed to Minor Injuries; they could not remove it, it was too deep and stuck in-situ (and any attempt was painful!). A trip to A&E followed, still they couldn't remove it. An emergency appointment at the ENT specialist was arranged for several days later and I had to suffer the constant pressure, discomfort and deafness until then and of course worrying about long term impact all the while. First ENT consultant had no joy after 50 minutes of trying to remove the firmly lodged plug. Second consultant, a surgeon - one hour and twenty minutes of ear drops, scraping, and suction later the last remnant was finally removed. If this last attempt had not been successful then next stop was general anaesthetic. After several more days of tenderness in that ear as it recovered from the ordeal I'm relieved that my hearing has returned to normal. These silicone plugs mould to the shape of your anatomy and bond like superglue in the heat of your ear and removal is like a torture procedure, incredibly painful. The analogy is 'chewing gum stuck deep in your long hair' with no option to cut the offending hair off! I would never wish this on my enemy and urge anyone thinking that this is the answer to blocking out your partner's snoring or similar to think again. DO NOT USE these silicone ear plugs. This is not an uncommon event, the ENT I attended had the same thing the week before and I've since read of many similar horror stories Knowing what I now know, I cannot understand how these things can be manufactured! Use at your peril...
