Amazon Kindle Paperwhite and Amazon Kindle Colorsoft Case, Lightweight and Foldable Protective Cover – Plant-Based Cover

The magnets on the case is really good and the sleep/ wake function works well. The cover doesn’t feel heavy or bulky. The inside of the front cover has a microfibre like layer that protects the screen. The outside of the case has a soft leather feel, while still feeling sturdy. It is a little expensive, but hopefully will last a good few years.

After the reviews I was anxious about receiving my new kindle coloursoft. I ordered the kindle just before release date and had the item delayed. I have sat with it a few days and found no issue. No yellow band that I can notice. The coloursoft has replaced an old 2019 kindle, so the difference in quality is quite noticeable to me. The battery lift lasts a long time and I enjoy the colour feature when looking for new books and you get a nice random image when you open the kindle. I bought the kindle case, which was expensive for what it is, but I feel better about taking the kindle out and about with me. I did read another review saying that the on/off button being on the bottom was poor design. It is a little odd being on the bottom but I have found no functional issues with this, no accidental pressing and I read in bed and lounging on the sofa. The screen size is just right, any bigger and it would be awkward to carry around. Overall very pleased.

I’d say, it is the best e-book reader I ever had so far. Comfortable to read, fast, responsive, battery lasts for ages - never had it drained yet.

The media could not be loaded. I didn’t want to spend £42.99 on a case but with amazon ‘surprise’ releasing of the new kindles no other cases have been readily available (unless you’re happy for them to ship directly from china) so I didn’t have much choice. It is a lovely looking case that does the job of protecting my kindle, but I’m not sure it’s worth the price tag.The case offers plenty of protection with hard shell edges and a sturdy front cover. The inside of the cover is also a felt like material keeping the screen safe from scratchers.The magnets hold the cover in place when closed and when folded back, plus it puts the kindle in sleep and wakes it again quickly when opening and closing.My only issue is that along the left hand side the case doesn’t fold back completely, so it feels bulky to hold with my left hand. It’s fine when holding in my right as that side stays flat due to the magnets. I’m hoping that over time the material will soften and with plenty of folding it will eventually sit flatter… but for now it feels uncomfortable in my left hand. It also adds quite a bit of extra weight (110g - half the weight of the kindle itself) which is to be expected for the protection but is notable.The overall look of the case is really nice though! It’s sleek and I love the colour. The outside is nice and soft too and pleasant to hold.Overall I’m glad I got this as I do feel that my kindle is much safer now, but it seems a tad over priced especially as there are no other real options out there other than the official Amazon Kindle cases right now.

Perfect, lovely colour and protects my Paperwhite Kindle. Highly recommend, love that it is plant based.

only had the case for 2 weeks with light use and the leather has already started to peel off, very bad quality for £43, I've had cheap £10 cases on my old kindle that have lasted for years I expected much better for an amazon kindle product

Delighted with this. Previously used an iPad for reading which was remarkably heavy. The Kindle by comparison is very light and the lighting is variable both in brightness and warmth of light. I highly recommend this Kindle.

I thought I'd pick this official 'green' plant based case for my new Colosoft. It feels nice and looks good, especially in the Jade colour. The device fits comfortably into the plasticky holding parts. There is no forcing required to take the device in or out of the cover. The case woke the device immediately when opened and put it to sleep quickly when closed, so no issues with that. It’s light too and doesn’t add that much weight. But at £42.99, most people will consider the price too steep when you can get acceptable Chinese branded cases for all Kindle models for a tenner.
