100 Afternoon Sweets: With Snacking Cakes, Brownies, Blondies, and More

I love Sarah’s recipes. I follow her blog and have her 100 Cookies book. 100 Afternoon Sweets is a great book with so many delectable recipes, it’s hard to choose what to make first! So far, I’ve made the Banana Bread Bars with Cream Cheese Buttercream icing. They’re delicious!Clear, easy to follow instructions and beautiful photos!

Sarah’s recipes look excellent once again! However, my friend also ordered this book from another retailer and received a list of corrections after her book was delivered. There were multiple corrections and not small things either, in some cases many ingredients were missing from recipes. I find it disappointing that a book went to print with that many errors and that only some customers are receiving the corrections depending on where they purchased the book. The one thing I happened to make so far was very good but also was not on the list of corrected recipes. I’m afraid there will be a lot of disappointed bakers out there.

I received a 2 page "ERRATA" sheet via Kieffer's mailing list. THERE ARE NUMEROUS ERRORS IN THE RECIPES - and they are NOT MINOR. THE BOOK SHOULD BE REPRINTED AND REPLACED. I have all Kieffer's book and this problem NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED BY THE PUBLISHER. MANY WILL NEVER KNOW THERE IS A LARGE ERRATA SHEET that goes on for two pages. ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE IS TO OFFER A FULL REFUND TO ALL PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT THE ERROR RIDDEN BOOK at Amazon.

A lot of great looking recipes in this book! Pleasantly surprised at the amount that I intend to try! Great photos of each recipe. Very happy with this purchase. Often times I am marginally happy with a cook book purchase, bordering on regret because they don't measure up to expectations. This one delivered! Worth it!
