As far as taste/texture? These are fabulous! I absolutely love the two I have tried so far. They fill me up and don’t taste processed or nasty. I saw some reviews about them being too chewy, but I personally love the chewyness of them. It’s a texture I really enjoy. However, expect to have it stuck to your teeth for a bit after each bite ;)The downside: price. And they have to stay refrigerated, which means I have to pack a cooler on trips to keep them fresh. Also cannot go out on the trail with me as it would probably end up a gooey mess.The other issue I’m now discovering is that I recently read that whey protein is NOT ideal or even good for those on Keto. It inhibits fat burning as it tends to cause insulin secretion, and is recommended only in very small amounts. I’m bummed as I learned this AFTER buying these. If they were made of collagen powder as opposed to whey, they would indeed be true Keto. But now that I know whey protein is not recommended on a strict Keto lifestyle, I won’t be re-ordering. Which is terribly sad for me, as these have been the best bars I have eaten. Ever. And I’ve eaten many.However, if you are on a “lazy Keto” or “dirty “Keto” lifestyle, I’m sure these would be fine. Just not for strict Keto users like myself. Total bummer:(

Received my order today. I went with the sample pack, I have only tried the Pure Joy and the Ginger Spice Pecan and they are both fantastic. Chewy like you would expect, and full of flavor. I have tried a ton of bars over the years, these have put themselves at the very top of the charts. They are not the least expensive bars out there, but let's be honest, you are putting it in your body, and I don't mind paying a bit more for something that is fresh and flavorful, and expires (if it has a shelf life of 10+ years, how good for you can it be?!?) Looking forward to trying the other flavors. Well done Marigold, thank you for creating another bar (KETO friendly) that I can look forward to eating.

Very tasty, the right size to keep you full, and each flavor is as good as the next in the variety pack. My only minor criticism, is that when eaten directly from the refrigerator, the bars are a little too chewy and stick to the roof of your mouth. Sort of like how a Tootsie Roll used to do when you were a kid. But to be clear, I will likely purchase these again due to their ingredients and taste. Glad I found these protien bars.

This is the only keto protein bar that has had me wondering "is this really keto? it seems almost too good to be true."Here are the things to know:* Very chewy. Like, jaw-tiringly chewy. I find this pleasing; others perhaps not.* Requires refrigeration, which limits convenience somewhat. (That said, I have carried one around in a jacket pocket for hours with no apparent troubles.)* Not inexpensive; I would say "good value."Best in class; I'll be buying more. I put bars in freezer upon receipt. I grabbed one and defrosted in fridge and took a bite and it was spoiled/tasted off with a strong sour smell. I had to toss the bunch and super disappointed. They are expensive and looked really good, but can’t speak to the taste as the one bite I took was spit out.

A friend gifted me with three Marigold Bars for my birthday when she found out that I was going Keto. Best gift ever! These bars are delicious and made by hand with organic ingredients. I have tried every single protein/diet bars on the market and I finally hit gold! MARIGOLD! Delicious! They taste amazing. I'm so glad I decided to order these and trust me they are worth every penny! If you're on the fence about ordering these. Don't be! I cannot say enough good things about these bars! I was surprised at how small they were, but they are very filling and tasty, so in this case, size doesn't matter. I've only tried the coconut flavor and at first I loved it, but it has a tiny little aftertaste I'm not too excited about. It's not a deal breaker though..... it's much better than most other bars!
