I avoided buying this type of device for a long time. Figured regular old tape measures would do fine. I was very wrong. This thing is awesome. So easy to use and very accurate. The laser beam needs to hit another solid surface to read so use a piece of wood or something if you’re measuring a surface. It has to be completely still in order to measure but that’s usually fairly easy to accomplish. A regular tape measure still has its uses and I keep both in my tool box. You won’t regret buying this.

I have another laser measure that I use all the time and it works great. However, it is only rated at 40 meters and there are some occasions that I need to measure further than that. So I picked up this unit which is rated at 60 meters. It’s great and has all the same feature like area, volume, and using Pythagorean theorem to calculate height based on angles. If you do a lot of measuring or calculating area such as construction, etc. this thing is awesome, accurate and a huge time saver.

I've only used it twice but once I got it down as to when how to push what buttons it works great and accurate to 1/100 of an inch, dam good product, glad I bought it.
