Great lightweight, low cost, windbreaker/ raincoat, and for me under $25 X-Large
Before I start read Pretty Comfortable by FRuanoC. I like his write-up and pictures. Now on to my review of my Paradox Men's Waterproof & Breathable RaincoatPros:* Appears waterproof tested in sink* Mostly well stitched and taped on all the seams* Small reflector front and back* Elastic draw string hood and waist* Nice blue color will go with jeans* Velcro closure on cuffs to help keep out rain* Waterproof zippered pocket in front for phone etc. (also good idea to put phone in plastic bag for double protection)* Access and run for earphones from inside to waterproof zippered pocket.* Rolls up super small (one of main reasons bought second to price.)* Compares well against REI Torrentshell coat (yes Torrentshell has more features but is 5x the expense too)Cons:* Agree with FRuanoC a bit more reflective material would be nice.* Can already tell material will not breath well, but did not buy for that, and sized up so would not be a problem.* Some missed stitching When I was looking to see if could roll jacket into a pocket as some claim, I found missed stitching on top seem of jacket near collar. Will fix rather than return as not critical stiching. (Answer to jacket in pocket, yes can be done, but at what cost to the jacket. I prefer rolling and putting in small packing cube.)* Although zippers easy to use on hand pockets they should also be waterproof.* Inner mesh storage pocket on left should have been repeated on right have feeling stitched closed during production by miscommunication.Note: If you want ventalation in any rain jacket buy a size larger than you normally wear. IMHO rain jackets are for protection first, looks second. A larger jacket allows for better ventilation and you can wear more underneath the jacket to keep drier and warmer in freezing cold rain.An update so soon... Yep 2/23/2018:I took this jacket out for a test run. :) Has been below 60 and with threats of rain, and plenty of wind decided this jacket, a t-shirt, and fleece jacket would be appropriate for getting my daily 10,000 steps in. My walk included a trip to the Home Depot, Dollar Store and Walmart. Yes I had to unzip due to the heat while shopping. Bought quite a few items that had to go into my backpack that I wore over my raincoat. It even started raining on the way back so I decided to put up the hood. At no time did I baby this jacket and it did not fail me. The pockets came in handy several times during the trip. At first the hood felt flimsy, but after adjusting the elastic draw strings it fit firm and even the small brim worked. When I got home I checked the inside of the coat and no moisture build up. I did not expect it as fleece and t-shirt helped wick away moisture as well. Still keeping at four stars though due to stitching, but all in all a great jacket. Oh also noticed price jumped back up. (IMHO: Price is manipulated/moved in relation to the reviews an item receives. All the more reason to carefully read reviews. :) )

Paradox Men's Elite Waterproof Rain Jacket is good enough to be a $130+ name brand jacket.
Great quality, lightweight rain jacket. I compare it very favorably to my 2006 $130 Marmot rain jacket. Both are made of high quality waterproofed fabric and have sealed seems. I like the Paradox even more because it's lighter. You can easily stuff it into the area of about two 12 ounce cans. The medium version weighs less than 13 ounces. Has adjustable cords for the waist and hood. Interior pass through hole for headphones from the front left waterproof zipper pocket (which can fit an iPhone 6+). Has ok sized hand pockets with zippers. Wrist area on sleeves is velcro, with no elastic. On the interior left side it has a very large mesh pocket (with no zipper or seal at the top, great for a scarf or gloves). The fabric-weave pattern on the outside, gives it a natural look. Doesn't look like a rain jacket. Water easily falls off it. Although most jackets like this, claim to be breathable (even the $300 ones), heat and some perspiration will build up inside if you don't leave the main zipper open, just like my Marmot (great for a cold day). I now own both large and medium sizes. The medium fits my stocky 5'9" frame with a little give and looks tailored. The large has more room for a bulky sweater and covers more of my waist.

The material is smooth and love the dark green color I bought
I am about a size 33 and an avid weight lifter so I was determined which size to get (32 or 34). I obviously went with the 34 and it fits really well. My thighs aren't huge but I needed pants that looked a bit "slim" and thought I'd give these a try since they're athletic size. It fits really well; a bit loose but hoping washing these a few times and breaking them in, they will fit perfectly. The material is smooth and love the dark green color I bought. I'm hoping the burgundy will come back in stock and definitely recommend buying a pair if you are an athlete.

Nice jacket but not breathable in my opinion
Nice for the price but definitely not breathable as other reviewers have stated. That is not the sellers fault but false advertising by Paradox in my opinion as "breathable" is on the packaging but it will sweat and does not seem to breath. I would have given 5 stars if not for that fact.It is a nice light jacket though for the price and does keep out moderate rain. After reading other reviewers comments about sizing I ordered the medium. I am 5'10" and 165 lbs and it fits fine and not to wide in the shoulders or too tight in the belly.

Best deal out there.
I purchased this with very low expectations as I only planned on using it in the woods for a single weekend and didn’t want to risk damaging one of my nicer jackets. I was very impressed with its light weight contruction and amazing waterproofness. While wearing the jacket I experienced everything from rain, snow, splashes of very thick mud, rubbing against branches and the jacket held up very well and kept me dry the whole time. One zipper got stuck but hey this jacket is cheap, stupid cheap!! But not cheaply built. VERY IMPRESSED!

Nice inexpensive option - esp for a work coat...
Great inexpensive rain coat. I purchased this as a work rain jacket. I've gone back and fourth between expensive rain jackets and cheaper ones. As a work coat, I'm happy so far. If it gets ripped or damaged, I won't feel as bad.Coat fits well, and looks very sharp (the heather grey). The hood is large, but adjusts - so I am happy there. Initial reports in the rain - is that it works pretty well. I have not experienced a soaking long rain yet....but for its price, I'm happy

Does the job.
Should get a size up. Does the job of keeping me dry in a heavy downpour.

Great light-weight rain jacket.
I wore this on a 9-day trip to Scotland and it worked as promised. It kept me dry and moisture did not build up inside the jacket. The only things that I wish the jacket had were a loop at the neck to hang the jacket on a hook and a way to roll up and secure the hood when not needed.
