So, rumor has it that tent manufacturers use to include a footprint when you bought a tent. I don't know for sure if that's true, but the two tents that I have purchased, after taking up camping in my "senior years", have not included a footprint. The footprint that is made for my tent is something like $65-70. Outrageous to need to pay that on top of the price of the tent. Well, this footprint fit my Wewona tent perfectly. Granted, the one sold by TNF extends into the vestibule, which would be nice, but I can take a couple of small indoor/outdoor rugs that will work out just fine. I deducted one star due to having moisture on the bottom of the tent and on the footprint at the end of my 3 night trip. We did get some sprinkles, off and on, on the first full day, but the moisture on my tent was right in the middle, so unlikely the precipitation was the cause. I'm not sure how big of a problem that might be, at this point. It seemed to dry out quickly enough. I will update if I end up with a mildew problem, long-term.

Nice tarp, thin and light. You need to roll it up tight to get back into the bag.
