Color does not quite match photo.
This review is for the hot pink. The collar is well built and I relly like the construction a lot but the photo for the hot pink is not accurate or my phone does not display it correctally. The hot pink color is much more intense than it looks in the photo more like a pink glow fabric. I've used other hot pink collars but this one is so intense that it does not look right on a dog IMO.

Love the design, the material frayed on 1st wash
I have a 70 lbs Redtick Coonhound and the green is just awesome on him. I like the design and metal pieces very much but I put the color in the wash and it came out fraying on the edges very much. I love the colar, but the fraying should not be happenning the very first time you wash it after limited use (this is one of three collars) over a couple of months.

Functional and looks robust
Purchased for my two dogs which normally wear a standard martingale collar. Reason for purchase was to allow easy removal when boarding the dogs. Concern was with a clip closure, however, the closure appears to be very robust and we really like the width on a large to medium dog.

Wrong advertisement
This is advertised as 1.5". When it came, the package said it was 2". It was way to thick and stiff. Would not recommend.

Works great, stays on, pretty color
Our dog trainer recommended a thicker collar for our large-breed mutt puppy for comfort and so she doesn't slip out of it. I found this and tried it out. It works great for training because it slides tighter when she lunges and pulls, but fits more loosely when she is behaving. The trainer remarked he was going to get some more of them for his clients. Love the fit and the pretty green color.
