She turns him upside down....inside out...
I loved this simple story of how "the game" is turned on "the player". I absolutely LOVED this story. All of the Bradford men, while completely "yummy", can be such annoying asses. They have no boundaries...they do not respect your personal space. There's no such thing as personal space. They're selfish to a fault and completely immune to the fact that they're jerks. And they are totally loyal and lovable. He's a 32 yr. old ex-marine who comes home from a 10 yr. career in the Corps. wounded and near dying. Danny has a body to die for and in typical Bradford fashion, he's arrogant and cocky; but he's also kind and funny too. And he has a certain "criteria" a woman must meet in order for him to look twice at her, much less consider dating. Like all Bradford men, he loves his food to the point of declaring war if anyone so much as looks at his plate of eats...and won't hesitate to punch his brothers, cousins or uncles in the face if they make a grab for his meal (they're the same). Nothing in Danny's adult life has gone according to plan. He wants nothing more than to have what his cousin's have...a woman that makes his life feel like it's worth something. And when he finally realizes he's met "the one"....he'd already mucked up his chances with her. So he develops the perfect "game plan" to woo and win her..........let the game(s) begin......She's feisty, sassy and very sexy.. although she's oblivious to these traits. Jodi is a beautiful, tiny-petite young woman with her warm green eyes and long blonde hair. She's had a run of bad luck...what with her being dumped by her loser ex-fiance' the very day before her wedding and given the sole humiliating responsibility of informing her guests. And then losing her prime position at the museum didn't help her ego. On top of all this, her ex continued to humiliate her by draining her savings account and leaving her in debt when he maxed out her credit card. So now she contends with issues of low self esteem and insecurity as well as trust issues and feelings of inadequacy. She has no confidence when it comes to men. Jodi seldom gets mad or angry. She never holds a grudge and let's things go pretty quickly...that is, she "gets over it" fast. She's usually easy going ....but that was before the "final straw".... she met her neighbor from hell....Mr. Danny Bradford. This is one of those fabulous roller coaster rides that gives a total "body grab"...the ride that causes your tummy to flip. It completely engulfed me making me incapable of putting the story down. Nothing got done...everything was neglected...and if I WAS able to set the story down briefly, my concentration was worthless...completely gone as I could think of nothing but getting back to my story. There were a few loose threads; we never know anything about Jodi...not her last name, where she's from....nothing about her family, not even her age! Danny's character details aren't much better...I mean, I'm the kinda' reader who needs visuals of her characters to connect well...(what color is Danny's hair??...anyone???...probably black I'm assuming since most Bradford men have black hair). How tall is Danny? Which city does the story take place? There are many vague areas. But all in all, the author took me through each romantic, comedic and sometimes dramatic moment and paced the story well. From Danny being the worst part of Jodi's day to gradually becoming the best part of her every moment...it was a delightful, hilarious, romantic romp and I loved it!

Another Bradford bites the dust!
With all the crazy in depth books I've read lately this one was such a great change of pace! Love this series it's truly a I'm laughing so hard I am crying sort of book. Once again R.L. Mathewson has put together a heart warming, inappropriate humor depiction of yet another Bradford falling in love.Danny lives across the hall from Jodi and it is his life mission to make her absolutely crazy. He has dubbed her Tinker-bell on the fact that she is a seriously short blonde with green eyes and she's a fireball. A fireball he comes to realize he can't live without. Jodi is the cute little sister type and has always been surrounded by guys. Guys who are ensconced in the friend zone. Every guy she's ever met has lasted less then one date before succumbing to the friendship curse. Except one who humiliated her by leaving her at the alter with a ton of debt. Then there is Danny, he makes her want to commit murder. In fact she plots his demise several times. Along with murderous rage though he makes her feel. Makes her crave a relationship with him on a level she's never had.It took me about 2 days to read this one and I couldn't put it down. I loved getting deeper and deeper into the Bradford family. Loved seeing little glimpses of past characters. In fact it's Zoe's lack of cooking skills that open up the door for Danny and Tinker-belle to bond... Over Jodi's strange reaction to all things medicine. throughout the book we see some of the hilarious Bradford behavior we have come to love over the years and a few interesting dynamics we haven't. Danny is a cousin so he's a Bradford but he's different. He actually has some control, not much but some over his appetite. He like the rest of them is a little dense figuring out he's in love but once it hits him he sets out to do what every other Bradford has done. Nope no wedding for a Bradford, he will risk the same consequences as his cousins and kidnap his bride, Only this time it backfires and he might have lost her.... Loved loved loved these two. I think they just might become my new favorites. If your looking for a funny, sometimes sweet, sometimes out and out just wrong storyline. This book is a must read. I love this series and recommend it!Lisa <3

Fun read
I wasn't expecting anything great from this book but i was in for a big surprise. It was a fun, lighthearted story that made me laugh out loud a number of times. Well written, great characters that you feel for & a quick moving story. The cover really is terrible but don't let that turn you off reading the book. I really enjoyed this fun romance & look forward to reading more in this series.

Great Series; fine as stand alone read
Love the humour. I read some other reviews saying the 'formula' was getting old & predictable but I love this series, I loved the humour, I loved how the horrific events that cause the Bradfords to be banned from venues happens 'off screen' and we see the hilarious fall out or after effects. Much greater comedic impact that way.
