I love this outdoor dog kennel!! It’s even better than I thought it would be!!! It was easy to put together (no power tools needed, yay) and only took us about 30 minutes—the process of building it was not painful at all. My partner said, “it’s built very well—straightforward to build.” I love it. Plus to protects my dog from getting wet when she has to go and it’s raining outside. Well made, great value. I’m so glad I picked this one. One last thing: there are 2 latches and both accommodate padlocks so that’s nice in case I want my dog to be extra safe.

I LOVE THIS KENNEL!! I purchased it for my Chihuahua Moon who is a rescue. I live on the Delta and river is right across a busy major 2 lane through way. The property is not fenced. She’s a real hunter and if not on a leash, if she saw a rabbit - or even a Lizard (we go on Lizard Hunts daily) she’d chase it up my levee and into that through way. I purchase it last year but didn’t set it up until recently as I’ve been traveling with Moon as my Copilot. She’s getting used to the kennel. She’s a Velcro Dog so I feed her in it and leave for awhile. She stays quite for quite awhile before she’s ready to come in. I have the wood in there as Moon won’t sit on grass!!! I HIGHLY recommend this Kennel!! Oh - the bowls are great! They even have a gasket that is under the lip of the bowl which gives them a snug - not crazy tight - fit in the holders which I haven’t put on yet but great kit. The cover fits GREAT & helps protect from sun. In the pics and video it’s 11:43 pm & it’s nice & comfy in there. It’s tall enough that I can stand up straight in it. Granted I’m “Vertically Challenged” at 5’3 lol! It’s a GREAT value for the money and I give it a BAZILLION STARS for weight (we have high winds from the Delta Breeze but it’s not going ANYWHERE), functionality, appearance, design and build quality. The door has great latches on it and are snug! Door doesn’t wobble at all as is nice and tight. It was very easy to assemble! Did it myself and I’m not a DIYer. Definitely definitely a very happy customer!! In the video, Moon was not interested in relaxing in her bed, but she does all the time!!

I purchased this for my chicken run. 5 stars on assembly. It was super easy. I am a 65 year old woman and assembled it by myself. The pic shows 3 large dogs. That's deceiving. It could only comfortably fit 2 large dogs if you doubled it. This is being used for 5 chickens and its just big enough for that, but barely. 5 chickens require 50 square feet of run. This is 48 square feet, but I do love the 6 foot height. The door is about 4 feet tall. You have to duck to go in. The locks are definitely predator proof. Its difficult to unlock. It only weighs 79 lbs and that was a concern. I reinforced it with T posts and pavers. For chickens the whole thing needed covered in hardware cloth. The top is open and that allows predators to get in. I secured the bottom with hardware cloth to prevent dig ins. The tarp is very lightweight. I purchased a heavy duty tarp to cover it. All in all, I'm very pleased with it for chickens. I would not expect it to contain my German Shepherd or Great Pyrenees. It's just too light weight and not enough room for a large dog. It windy today and its standing fine.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: After looking through various 4x8x6 kennels on Amazon, I chose this one because of: 1) the height and 2) the little removable door since I wanted to create a covered run and have this be adjacent to the chicken coop. This replaced the 4’ fencing we were using since I got tired of having to take off the 6x9 tarp every week to refresh and clean the dirt in the run. Plus it’s been raining almost every day and water would collect on top of the tarp in areas that sagged. The kennel arrived a week earlier than proposed. The box was shorter than expected, so I reached out via email to their customer service to make sure that I was getting the product that I ordered since it didn’t say on the box the dimensions and when I went back to check the dimensions on Amazon, it was sold out and wouldn’t pull up. I heard back the next day (Saturday) from their customer service and after a couple emails back and forth, I was assured that it was, in fact, the correct kennel. So, I assembled the kennel on Monday. It was very easy to put together, but you do have to pay attention on doing the corner panels (as the instructions mentioned). I messed up a couple times on the placement, but it’s an easy fix since the clips were quickly able to be removed and panels reattached properly. I did have my husband assist me on attaching the roofing hardware and the roof cover since it is almost 8’ long. Upsides: 1) easy assembly, 2) metal seems sturdy, 3) couple extra pieces of hardware were included (gloves were an added bonus though not needed for assembly), and 4) excellent customer service handled via email - their tone was friendly, professional and helpful. Downsides: 1) as another member had mentioned, the dimensions are 3-4 inches shorter than 4’x8’x6’, but if you look carefully at the dimensions given in inches, yes, you are made aware. Plus, if you look at other brands, this seems to be true for them, too. 2) going through the tall door, one needs to duck going in or you risk running into the top bar. I am 5’ tall and I have to duck going in. Once inside, there is plenty of headspace for me in the middle so I can rake out the kennel/run.

Does not work if you need to hold big dog outside the black holders won’t stay together which cause panels not to be connected. I had to spend more money just to hold it together very disappointed. So light weight it blew over in the wind

Very sturdy and look exactly as pictured. Very easy to assemble.

Carefully packed and shipped, very pleased with the design and sturdy welding. Assembly of door needs to be stepwise and careful because of bolts. Recommended for small pets.
