SYRYN Swimbuds Flip Bundle

Firstly - I've rated this 5 stars because it does exactly what it says on the box. It's a waterproof MP3 player suitable for using while swimming. When I was looking to purchase something to make doing laps more tolerable, I looked at most of the options available through Amazon and wasn't impressed by most of the offerings. I ended up going for this one because it seemed to have the least dubious/fake reviews, and I hoped that by spending a bit more I wouldn't get something completely useless. Bearing this in mind, I'm satisfied. The sound quality is fine, and it's easy to operate - the buttons are multipurpose when you press and hold e.g. for volume control. In the pool, I was at first a bit concerned that one side sounded muffled, but it turned out I had a bit of water in the rubber part of the earbud - giving it a flick resolved the issue. There's an extension cord to make the earphones longer, but I found I was fine clipping the MP3 player to my swimming costume without this. The earbuds stayed in well for me (I use the smallest size). Getting music onto the player was straightforward, and I liked that there was a .pdf of the instruction manual. As this contains information about doing a system reset etc it's good to have that available electronically when the paper copy has inevitably wandered off. The only downside is that there's no mechanism to scroll through a track, so if you are intending to use this to listen to unabridged audiobooks or similar it could be challenging. However, for breaking up the monotony with music/podcasts I think this is great!

These work perfect. Used approx 3-4 times per week when swimming. Note: the songs play on shuffle so you dont have much control over that. Lasted me about 5 years though I think it may be dying now (music not coming through properly in 1 ear)

Left my review until I'd given the item a good trial. Was very skeptical at first but after adjusting my swimming cap so it didn't completely cover the earbuds I have been pleasantly surprised. This SYRYN waterproof MP3 player actually works. The earbuds stop water from getting in your ears (and with a choice of sizes everyone should be happy) and the sound is generally okay (slight muffling when underwater but nothing to complain about). Fixes nicely to goggle strap and the earbud wiresare short enough to not be a bother. Well- suited to freestyle, even more to breastroke. Can even handle tumble turns. The Battery life is good too. Best of all, this item is totally fit for purpose- removing the boredom of endless laps in the pool. Would recommend to anyone who does a lot- or even a little- swimming.

I swim a mile per day. Everyday. It used to be really boring. So I bought this waterproof mp3 player. It works extremely well. It is actually waterproof. The headphones are comfortable and transmit a loud enough signal for me to hear my music tracks and podcasts clearly when I'm thrashing through the water. The file organising software is clunky and needs improvement. It works but I could design better. Now, swimming isn't so boring. Often I forget I'm swimming. I always lose count of the number of lengths that I have completed, so now I gauge my exercise by the duration of my playlist. Also, many people stare at the mp3 player stuck on the back of my head on my goggles strap. Some ask what it is. Be prepared for some enquiring looks from other swimmers.

This is the second Syryn underwater music player I purchased after the first one stopped working. However, my first Syryn lasted three years while this one has stopped working after 10 months which is very disappointing. When it works it’s a great product, easy to use and you can clip it on to your swimming hat or swimming suit strap. The quality of sounds is great and it has a good storage size for many music files. Sadly, the rubber part with the play buttons has come off and the device no longer works (doesn’t switch on). So the product’s durability is rather poor.

Bought this to replace an Underwater Audio iPod Shuffle which is not longer available. There is no volume control, so you are stuck with not great sound, but still usable. However, it is hard to start, seems to stay on pause and you have to turn it on then off again, and wait to see if the light flashes so that you know it is playing ---- not good by the side of a pool or lake. I bought this in March, and is has not died on the 25th of July, despite the fact that I took care of it. Honestly guys, this is not good. I am going to return it, maybe they will replace it, maybe not, but I am unimpressed

This little device has changed my daily pool lap routine with adding music while swimming. Sound is great under water, blocks out 90% of noise but I do hear my splashes extremely faintly,Clips to my goggles. Ear buds keep out the water better than my regular ear plugs when using the gel that comes with the device. Absolutely recommend this mp3 player. Easy to use and download music.

Il est tout petit et très pratique, les écouteurs sont ergonomiques et tiennent bien meme en crawl, le son est plus que correct. J'ai eu plusieurs lecteurs mais celui ci est de loin celui que je préfère pour'accompagner et me distraire pendant mes longueurs en piscine

For the price this product has amazing sound quality. It comes with a water hair care product and some gel for helping earphones seal in the ear. The MP4 player is easy to load with music, just copy them and paste from your playlist onto the player. Lasts about 6-7 hours on a fully charged battery. I recently did a 18km swim for charity and the MP4 player was fantastic for entertainment and did not fail me.
