ektro Alloy Steel Disc Brake Pad
If you’re looking for reliable stopping power with a dash of flair, the Tektro Alloy Steel Disc Brake Pad has got your back—literally! After putting these bad boys to the test, I’m happy to report they live up to the hype and keep me from turning my commutes into unintentional thrill rides. Here’s the scoop:The Pros:Reliable Stopping Power: These pads grip like a champion wrestler on match day. Rain, shine, or that mysterious sludge that shows up after a downpour—doesn’t matter. They bring you to a smooth, controlled halt every time.Durability: I’ve put some serious miles on these, and they’re holding up like champs! No signs of giving up anytime soon. With a combination of alloy steel, they’re made to last, which is something I can definitely appreciate.Easy Installation: Even if you're a DIY beginner, installing these is as easy as adding a dash of pepper to your spaghetti. They slip right into place, and you’re back on the road in no time. The Cons:Slightly Noisy: I’ll admit, they can be a bit loud—like a squeaky reminder that they’re hard at work. But, hey, sometimes you need a little sound to let others know you’re coming through!Breaking In: Like a pair of new shoes, these brakes need a bit of time to settle in. The first few rides might feel a tad stiff, but once they’ve broken in, it’s all smooth stopping from there.Final Thoughts:Overall, the Tektro Alloy Steel Disc Brake Pad is a dependable choice for anyone needing consistent performance. They’re a mix of style, strength, and stopping power, with just a dash of personality. Sure, they’re not the quietest on the market, but who needs subtlety when you’re stopping on a dime? They’re durable, effective, and give you the confidence to tackle even the steepest of hills. Give them a spin if you’re ready for a brake pad that works as hard as you do!

Saved me $$ at the bike shop.
Did my own breaks on my e bike. Very easy to install. Make sure to wear rubber gloves when handling. Treat breaks light can headlights. Very easy to contaminate by touching.

P20.11 is the better buy for an ebike
I bought these in June to replace the brakes on my ebike. The brakes work very well, but they don't last nearly as long as the P20.11 version. I bought P20.11s in May 2023, and they lasted me until June 2024.I bought some of these E10.11s in June. It's only September and I already need to replace them.

Good value in all-purpose pads.
These pads came stock in the Tektro HD-275 brakes on my 2019 Trek Marlin 5. They gave pretty good stopping power, given my own hefty weight of around 275lb. The front was fairly crisp, though the rear seemed a little softer in the lever. The pad performance has always been good, though. I rode the summit at Schweitzer ski resort this summer, lots of downhill, and the brakes never faded or made much noise - only a little squeak on the bottom of extended runs at moderately quick speed. The levers on my Tektro hydraulic brakes needed 2 fingers to give adequate stopping power though, which meant less sure bar grip for me on rock gardens and technical sections. After swapping the brakes on my brother's bike over to Shimano MT200 hydraulics, i found his levers gave much better feel and power than my stock Tektro hydros, and as a bonus, the E10.11 pads are a direct fit in the Shimanos as well. I ended up swapping my Marlin over to the MT200s and retaining the E10.11 pads, and my brakes now give me the power and feel to get me slowed down, repeatedly, even on the steepest and fastest hills i've dared attempt on my hardtail, with just 1 finger on the levers, which makes for safer and more confident riding on more technical stuff. Are they top-of-the line, high-powered DH brakes? Definitely not. But they are hard to beat for value in a general-purpose all-mountain/trail brake pad, with progressive bite and low noise.

Works great
Replaced disk brakes on my stumpy mtb. Taking the spring off to be replaced i didn't even take the wheel off. Seated well and great stopping power.
