The dress is beautiful and perfect for the Daddy Daughter dance. The top is more gold than I expected, but I like that even more. The flower is smaller than the photo. My 11 year old daughter is tall and slightly slim and the 12 fits her perfectly.

I also wanted something for upcoming birthday (4 in December) as well as Christmas/New Year parties; possibly other birthday parties. After reading all the comments I decided to buy 2 sizes of each dress. My older twin (by 2 minutes.. lol) usually wears 5-6 and younger wears 4-5. After trying I've decided to go with the regular size, as not only they were longer (longer looks so much better) and possibly with more growth (the tie on the back can help adjusting the waist). Thanks to Amazon Free returns policy, I will be leaving the ones which fit the best - So I got size 6 in Red and size 4 in Yellow. So I say - true to size in my case. In the end it will depend on how tall your girl is.COLORS. I got Yellow and Red. Both are stunny and I was debating about Blue, as it's so beautiful as well.QUALITY. Amazing. The different colors of tule in the skirt are to-die-for! I absolutely love the Sequin top, the colors remind me Peacock or Chameleon - changing colors depending on light. The best part about top is that it's not prickly to touch, because it has a black tule on top of it - this is great for kids, so it's soft to a touch and also so the kids don't attempt to remove the sequins.. lolPRICE. Yes it's not a cheap dress. I got Red for $39.99 and Yellow for $49.99. But there are many dress which sell over $100! For the look/quality, it looks so expensive.

My daughter wanted a rainbow colored dress for her 1st dance. I was worried when I purchased this dress but I'm glad I did! The dress is beautiful and my daughter loves it! It fit perfectly. She's about 80 lb and 54 inches tall. We got the size 10. It's longer so she will be able to wear it again when she grows. The material is very sturdy; not cheap.

The petticoat is a nice firm material which really adds a nice shape to the ball gown. The lining is very. Ice and even has an inside zipper cover. The dress was packaged in its own soft bag. So well made, looks very high end... I'm hoping it fits my child. Would definitely recommend based on the dresses quality!

Great value party dress. It is well made and beautiful. Order 1 size bigger to get floor-length ballgown effect. My girl wears 6x, I got the size8. The waist can be tightened. Only con is the flower clasp, it fell off while she was wearing the dress for the first time. The flower is missing in the pic. The dress is prettier w the flower on. I ironed the skirt a little (very low heat, #2 out of 6) because it was crushed when it arrived. Other than that, really beautiful dress.
