It’s a good quality, but it was too large for my son

This is my unbiased review. Overall, this jersey is a high quality, well made garment. The fabric is standard hockey jersey material and the graphics are sown on solidly, as opposed to the glued graphics you will find on cheaper jerseys.The fit is pretty big, I do realize that it is a hockey jersey and they run larger, but the issue is the sleeves are very long. I wear an XL in shirts, and the sleeves on the XL for this jersey go past my fingers.

See, there's no gusset in the armpit, which makes the sleeves bind and restricts movement, so this is definitely a shirt rather than a jersey.It's a shame, too, because the fabric is heavy duty and the stripes are actually stitched on-- nice details that really add to the quality. The graphics look great, too, and aren't just thermofilm but sewn on.The garment runs small, too, but not so small that it would lose the star. That distinction is purely based on the lack of armpit gusset, which, again, restricts movement and greatly changes the overall look and feel of what is supposed to be an oversized sweater with room for pads and such.
