I absolutely love these pens
I bought these from the official Muji store for a bit more money than here. I absolutely love these pens. I use them intermittently with my .38 muji gel pens for a contrast in thickness in my notes.Pros:-Even when I press hard into the paper, they don't leak through. I press down pretty hard when I'm taking notes and these still don't leave that much of a noticeable indent which makes my notes look very clean when I want to use both sides of the paper. (If I use .38 rather than the .5, there is an indent which doesn't look too great)-They come in some really pretty colorsCons:-I used to be into faber castells and it kind of is a bummer to go from 30+ different colors to 12-13 colors with muji-If you wait a second or put the pen down without putting the pen cap back on, the ink will pool on the end which either drips or makes a ink pool when you got to write again with your paper

Muji pens are great!
Love the Muji pens, they look aesthetically pleasing, and for the most part, are very smooth (I did notice some scratchiness when writing with the Green, Sky Blue, and Lime Green). The fine tips are great for writing notes. Unfortunately, these are a lot more expensive on Amazon than the actual Muji website where they cost about $1 each.

Awesome pens: cute colors, no skipping.
Muji ballpoints are some of my all-time favorite pens. They write smoothly and the colors look good. Admittedly the color selection is pretty limited, but I mostly use mine for taking notes so I don't need that many colors. I think I prefer the .38 size to the .5 size, but that's just a personal preference. Fantastic pens, great for the price. The only thing to watch out for is comfort. There is no grip or anything, but you could always add a gel grip if needed.

Good pens, faulty pouch
The pens arrived with more ink than usual, which is a plus! But the pouch they arrived in was faulty and won't seal -- the little plastic bit just slides back and forth without closing the pouch.

Great, Consistent Pens
These are very nice pens with great consistency, easy writability, and great colors. The only color that had ink issues was the light pink, and that was only at first. It writes quite smoothly after some use. Writing small or big works for this size and ink; when I write small with other pens the ink tends to blotch together but the letters remained quite crisp. It dries fast so there is very little chance to smudge. I really love these pens!

I love gel pens
I love gel pens. I practically grew up using gel inked pens from my sister and the convenience of Hawaii being supplied with Japanese stationery. That being said—Sakura Gelly Roll pens. Comparatively, they write about the same. The body of the pen being the main change. Muji provides almost standardized colors (ink) and clean appearance. Shorter in length and varies from .38 ~ .5mm (to my knowledge). From my experience with the .5mm I was disappointed by how much praise people gave Muji gel pens. Though not my main reason why I give these a low 4 rating, it factors into thinking I'd enjoy the small selection. The lower rating came from (possibly just my) black pen has busted to write out inconsistent amount of ink. It would vary from my main pressure stroke to the flick to the next letter. The other colors did not experience the same issue, but there have been moments where the red inks were barely writing out with ink.So while I do keep this in my pencil case, I solemnly reach out to use my Muji pens. I have experienced this with Gelly Rolls, but because they are sold convinently local it poses no major deal, as the Muji pens being shipped with this result.
