Great solution for our large patio
Looks great. Easy to assemble and add the pebbles. Made really well, sturdy. Rolls easy even with umbrella. No hesitation about moving it around at all. Love the table top, makes it more like a piece of patio furniture vs. an obstacle. Thank you for making a great product!

Excellent Product! Most Stable Umbrella Base Ever and Looks Great!
I have lived in AZ for 30 years and gone through many patio umbrellas with the heavy winds we get regularly. Even though I have had pools, I couldn't provide shade near them most of the time. But this product holds the umbrella so well that it even withstands our winds. I don't have to keep taking the umbrella out, putting it away, then putting it back out, etc. It is super easy to move around and there are numerous options as to how you can stabilize it. I highly recommend this product to everyone for the quality, mobility and appearance!

Great product and great company. Read the full review.
See update below:Initial review: After researching for weeks I finally ordered two of these umbrella bases in early July, one with the additional table. Finally got around to unboxing them and filling the bases with bricks and sand two weeks ago. Three days ago I walk by and notice the table has a big crack/tear in the plastic around the umbrella post. Very disappointed that this happened, especially considering I haven’t even used the table yet.UPDATE: I called the manufacturer and it results that I did not follow the installation instructions to the T. There is a set screw under the table that must be set one the table is rotated to a slight snug position. I instead over-rotated the table until it was too tight on its umbrella base, causing excessive prolonged tension and ultimately leading to the tear in the polymer. The company was kind enough to send me a replacement at no cost.Ultimately, I’m extremely pleased with the Shademobile products and the company stands by its products with great customer service. Still by far the best, sturdiest and most convenient umbrella base I’ve owned. This is one of those products that should last for decades or maybe even a lifetime vs the Chinese junk that only lasts a year or two. No more stains on the pool deck from rust or aluminum electrolysis, super heavy, yet easy to move/re-position with the convenient casters built in. Has never tipped over, even in strong wind/rainstorms with the umbrella open/extended.You might pay more initially, but in the long run you will ultimately save money from not going through the hassle of re-purchasing bases every 1-5 years.

Updated Review: Better than a 50lb umbrella base, by far - and still holding up!
Ok, I just wanted to share some new pictures (the last three in the bunch). These things stand up to Calfornia heat and near daily use. I got some new pics. I o of the patio umbrella base I got for my Father-in-law as a gift. And he just showed it to me last night when I stopped by to check out his new deck. He was so thrilled about the quality. He had tried the other 50lb and 80lb bases, and nothing is as stable as this thing, it can go up to 125 pounds, which with some of the breezes that whip around there is important. And honestly, nothing is as good looking either - check out the new and old pictures with both umbrellas and see.I've seen how harsh the ugly burs on the cast iron bases look, and the cement bases are crumbly and, if you've seen the wheels on those things, they are just plain unsafe. The rolling umbrella base blends so well with his outside landscaping (he takes a lot of pride in his back yard - really, I had a 40 minute tour yesterday to see all of the new areas he is creating).Anyway, he's hyped. But check it out for yourself. It's super easy to move around, and it is super safe around children. That's why when it came time for picking a gift for him, we picked this patio umbrella stand. He is thrilled.

Just what I wanted and needed
I spend a lot of time on my back porch. We needed something very stable and very easy to move. And we wanted a capacious and well placed table. This item met all requirements. Initial assembly can be just a tad messy, a little bit of sand- a cup or so- got spilled on the deck, very trivial.Logical design and straightforward assembly. Seems to be well made; only time will tell how the materials hold up, but looking good so far.Not the cheapest solution, but as good as I could find and that's what I wanted.

Worth every penny!
I was not keen on spending so much for an umbrella base, especially after having wasted $40 on a different base that turned out to be woefully inadequate. I'm so glad I took the plunge, though. As other reviewers have noted, this base is very sturdy, very well made, and utterly gorgeous. Assembly is straightforward, and the instructions are clear and thorough. (I added one step not called for in the instructions: I put a small piece of tape over each bolt hole before placing the sand in the base, in order to keep stray grains of sand from going into the holes.) I am a small, 60+ granny, and I had no problems getting the bricks and sand placed properly. The only part of the assembly where I could have used a helper was when it came to flipping it right side up after tightening all the bolts. At 125 pounds, the filled base is not easy to wrestle into its upright position. However, I managed it alone . . . only slightly tweaking my back . . .However, I'm thrilled with the results. The umbrella stand is a breeze to wheel around the deck. It holds my 9' umbrella steady in a light wind with no problem. The accessory table is wonderful, too. And I can finally enjoy my sunny deck without baking. I recommend this product!

A great addition to any backyard or patio!
Love these Shademobile rolling umbrella stands/tables. I have 3. The only problem comes when adding the weight to the base and then having to flip it over. That 75 pounds to 125 pounds can be difficult to roll over for those of a certain age.

Great product, great customer service! Read until the end.
I ordered the Shademobile with the table. Unfortunately, Amazon.ca sent it without the table. I checked the option to send it back and reorder. However, 2 days later Amazon sent an email saying the table was not available and they were canceling the order.I decided to call Amazon customer service and they were great, offering to credit 50% off my invoice if I wanted to keep the base without the optional table. I accepted and proceeded to put the Shademobile together after buying bricks and sand for $8.It was simple to assemble and works perfectly. Unfortunately, however, there were two 1.75 inch reducers (for the diameter of the umbrella pole) with the other two sized reducers in the package...the 1.5 inch reducer was missing. So I decided to send an email to the inventor and head of the Shademobile company, Mr. David Taylor, as he had indicated to do so on a flyer with the assembly instructions if any customer wasn’t completely satisfied.I explained the ordering problem with Amazon and the missing reducer and asked him to send me that part at no charge and, if the table was available, to send me one if the price was reasonable.Within the hour I received a response from David Taylor asking if he could call me. I gave him my phone number and within 15 minutes he called from California to my home in Quebec.I told him that his product worked perfectly and, at the end of the conversation he not only told me he’d be sending me the reducer at no charge, but he would include the table also for free! I received both today! This product is exactly what we needed as we live next to a lake which often is windy. I was worried the wheels might not roll easily on our new cedar deck (with spaces between each board) if I used the 125lb weight option. But, as advertised, the unit rolls easily and doesn’t seem to leave any noticeable marks or indentations. Also, the windy gusts we get haven’t budged the base so far, even though the umbrella itself was flapping pretty hard in the wind. Of course, I’ll close the umbrella in high winds, but I must say this item and the company has surpassed my expectations.

STRONG, VERSITILE & BEAUTIFUL!
This stand is worth it! I returned a 50 pound base from another company and purchased this one. We live in the country where the winds are a little stronger and this base is perfect! We followed the directions for filling the base with accuracy. If you use the proper bricks and sand this base will be strong and sturdy. ..... approx.125 lbs. The wheels make it easy to move with the sun, if needed. I love the table on the top! Perfect size for a couple of drinks and snacks .... and .... my morning coffee!!

Well made product!
Love the product...I like to move it around the pool edge so that I can take my young grandson in the pool and he can still be in the shade. The only thing is that I wish it was made in grey and/or white so it would match my other pool furniture.

Ideal if you want to move around your umbrella.
Purchased this to allow the movement of an umbrella around our backyard to follow the sun. Great product and easy to put together, however, we used a mixture of sand and old patio stones we had and it works great. Not too crazy about the colour, it's a little lighter than I thought - would have been better if it came in black or a dark espresso colour. But otherwise, very happy with this purchase.

Worth buying.
Love this umbrella stand. Also bought one with the little table. They are a bit heavy to move around but you want that weight so they don't get blown over. It makes it so much easier to have the shade wherever you want it.
