What an absolutely fantastic book for families visiting Rome. I have visited Rome several times before and this year we're taking our children (14,6&4). I really want them to love Rome as much as I do but I'm aware that so much 'culture, history and architecture ' may get a tad overwhelming for the younger two so I wanted to get something that will put all this in simpler terms for children. This arrived yesterday and I read it last night, it is just perfect for our 6 year old. The amount of information in it also makes it ideal for any parents who just want a basic background of knowledge without dumbing anything down. There are quizzes and activities to help keep the children interested and looking out for things and the layout is very good. I cannot wait to go and share this with them!

We are yet to use this, however it looks really good and my son seems keen to fill it out when we go to Rome

Grandson loved it. It will be a nice keepsake.

Bought it for my 8 year old son before travelling to Rome and it was a big hit with him! He likes reading and he likes facts, so this guide was just perfect. We would tell him in the evening what we were planning to see the next day and then he would read about those sights and quote the facts to us the next day :) Plus there are mane quizzes and 'curious facts' in the books to make it even more exciting. HIghly recommended for primary school-aged kids!
