I just received this mat. My yoga instructor recommended cork to me due to it's grip. I found a couple great companies selling cork mats. I chose to this one because love the concept of a young entrepreneur starting out her business dedicated to doing right by the environment. This mat is advertised to be biodegradable, eco- friendly, responsibly sourced and anti-microbial. The packaging was adequate and not extravagant. The mat comes with a strap that doubles as a carrier, which I didn't notice advertised, and is a very valuable extra for me! The mat is very thin, estimated 4mm x 60in x 24in (may not be exactly accurate, I'm guessing based on my experience). I wet my hands to attempt to slip around on this mat, but my hands didn't go anywhere! It is a little slippery when completely dry, still better than any previous mat I've had and I just sprayed a little if my home made mat cleaner on it before my practice and I had NO problem with sliding.I will be using for my daily practice to test how well it holds up with moderate use, and update as necessary.No photos posted, as the mat is well represented by photos in description.I recommend the seller list the mat dimensions on the description.
