I have used this book in the mythology classes I teach and have found it to be a reliable and noteworthy resource. My students are able to use it for their Greek God Reasearch Project and find information not always included in other encyclopedias and dictionaries of Greek gods.As for typos and spelling errors, I have not noticed a problem with either, though some of the spellings are British English instead of American English.

The book is in excellent condition. it was shipped and received on time.I have purchased a number of books and this ranks with the best. I use the samereview (to save time) unless their is a reason to change because of circumstances.I am happy with the service.

I received the 2003 edition (exact same cover) as a gift and although I absolutely love Greek mythology, I gave this book away because it was so poorly edited. The number of typos and misuse of punctuation completely ruined this book for me. I will be looking for one that's written / edited better!

The Complete Encyclopedia of Greek Mythology is a really comprehensive book on mythology that anyone who loves Greek myths will love.
