Blue Wave NE122SS Stainless Steel In-Pool Ladder,Silver/white

I received the product, but was missing a few of the plastic pieces. The manufacturer was very responsive andsent me an entire new ladder and allowed me to keep the original. I assembled the ladder and it is fairly sturdy. I saw a video review saying the ladder was flimsy, but the cost to manufacture thick steel rails would be substantial. Plus, in that review it appears the ladder was not touching the bottom of the pool, so of course it will wobble. For an above ground pool in my backyard the ladder is more than adequate.

GOOD BUILT LADDER. ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS NO SCREWS INCLUDED FOR THE 2 FLANGES THAT GO ONTO THE DECK. NOTHING ABOUT WHAT SIZE OR HOW LONG IS NEEDED. WHY WOULDN'T THEY BE INCLUDED ?

So far, I really like the way they look, although a bit narrow. I can’t speak on how sturdy they are yet, as we just opened the pool for the season and it’s too cold to get in. The stairs do not float, which is relieving! Ours did not come with the plastic flanges like they state are in the package. I ended up buying metal flanges which I think will hold up better anyway. They aren’t the easiest to assemble, but manageable. Great value for the price

Actually it seems to be a very good ladder, but there were a couple of important parts missing so assembly was unnecessarily difficult..1. The screws to screw the flanges/sockets to the deck were missing.2. Per instructions, the flanges are supposed to be slipped over the stainless tubes with setscrews. First off, no setscrews. Second it was a very tight fit between flange and tube. Managed to hammer them on but could have easily deformed the tubes in the process.3. Per instructions you need to drill two 1-1/2" holes through the deck for the tubes to slide into. No problem if you happen to have the right tools on hand, but most folks don't happen to have that sort of stuff available.Other than that i't a good ladder, probably better than most out there. Price was good also.

I don’t write reviews, but felt this was the exception. The pool ladder seems made of good quality materials, but that’s were it ends. The stainless tubing will never fit into the rung holes. The tubing is larger in diameter than the 1 1/2” holes in the rungs and the mounting brackets. This is one of the poorest quality control items I’ve even seen on Amazon. I had to ream/ sand out each of the holes ( about an 1/8 of an inch per hole ) to assemble the ladder. A 15 minute project took extra tools and about an hour. Very disappointing quality control. Don’t buy this unless you have tools and some skills.I have contacted the manufacturer and await their response.Thank you for reading

Honestly, there were a couple of holes that didn't line up completely, but you just have to muscle it into place a little bit, really not a big deal. Once it's in, it is pretty sturdy, we had some people that weighed quite a bit more than the advertised weight load with no issue. Really great ladder. The bottom does come off easily, but if you install it correctly - that shouldn't be an issue, because it should sit flush on the floor of the pool.

This pool ladder works perfect attached to the pool deck. Very easy to get in and out. Very good quality.

For some reason, I fall into this myself when reading customer reviews. A product can have 5,000 favorable reviews but I get swayed by the 15 negative ones....This product came exactly as advertised and as I expected. It is a good solid basic above ground pool ladder. The best thing is that it is NOT buoyant, will not float like these big plastic models tend to which was how my last one broke after only 2 seasons. No more sand-filled jugs bungey-corded around the steps to weigh it down.If you have very basic mechanical ability, this is easy to assemble. Directions are easy to follow and a rubber mallet or even the back handle end of a mallet to get the treads onto the poles is the most important thing. Every hole lined up fine, just tighten with a Phillips and 10MM socket. Done. I tend to think the people complaining about this product in their reviews just don't regularly assemble things. I'd take this over ANYTHING from IKEA every time if that helps. So far, so good on this product and I don't anticipate any problems.
