Specs are all over the place on these SE walking sticks. 0.9 lb, 1.1 lb, 5 lb, etc. Which is it? Solid enough for a large man under normal use?

They sent me the 1lb one and it is not heavy enough. I sent it back and ordered one from another vendor. 3 lbs is good for a man.

How thick is it? Is it appropriate for displaying medallions?

James, it is about 3/4" thick at the bottom and 1 1/4" thick at the top. I bought one an purchased a wood burner to etch ti with school logos, organizations, and honors with which my father has been associated. He loved it. I'm not sure what type of medallions you are wanting to display.

Is this stick straight?

Please! Take the time to enlarge the image on Amazon, and you will see that it is not straight like a piece of rebar. Now you will probably ask me what rebar is.
