Sonic Glamour Girls' Bike - Purple/White, 16 Inch

ordered for my 5 year old when she outgrew her old bike, has all the little extras girls love, sparkles, flowers and tassels! came with the handlebars, seat, pedals and front wheel detached, thankfully all pretty straightforward, but be warned, you will need your own tools, the all in one spanner provided becomes a little mangled after a bit of rough use! instructions weren't especially clear, but as long as you have a little common sense (or someone who knows what they are doing) its easy enough.Bike is very sturdy, comes with a lovely patterned padded seat, the handlebars are fully adjustable height and angle, frame seems very strong, and a lovely colour!All in all excellent value for money, has the look of a bike that should cost a lot more, the only thing worth considering is the size, it does state suitable for 4.5 - 7 year olds, and while my daughter is not the tallest 5 year old i think a few others would struggle to comfortably touch the floor, even with the seat fully lowered. Fine if they are confident riders and have no problem hopping on and off! I have tried her on a 16 inch bike before and sure the seat was lower so maybe it is the frame style, but no worries kids grow!!!

The bike is slightly heavier than I would expect for a little girl, but not too heavy for her to struggle to ride it. It is a cheap build, however as long as it is not left under the rain, I am sure it would last both my daughters early childhood.For £60 I really cant complain as the bike is serving its purpose perfectly well - its pretty most of all and this is what matters to my daughter. From my point of view it was very easy to assemble (not sure what other reviewers were raving about) - 15 min job done with no extra tools needed.Overall I am happy with the purchase.

Attractive bike for a wee girl and looks like its made for a wee girl. However, its solid, easy to assemble and gives us confidence that she'll be safe to enjoy it (more so when I find a solution to the plastic chain guard). Fast and good delivery service.The Plastic chain guard cover is the only concerning feature, it needs another securing bracket, because I noticed no matter how much I tighten (avoiding over tightening and breaking the screw holes in the plastic guard) the pedal end of the guard keeps moving towards the pedal. This will either break the plastic guard with peddle or may even throw the child's foot off the pedal. Perhaps a lock/serrated washer might help!!!On a one off issue, the bikes front reflector came broken, this will be a manufacture fault, and nothing to do with the seller.

Bike arrived day before scheduled and as it was a birthday gift for my 6y daughter she was wery happy. She learned to ride it in 2 days (she had 14'' bike with training wheels before). Bike looks good and "girlish" enough to make any girl happy. Only thing i'm bit warried about is chain/ring because it's not greased and too open in my opinion (dust and sand can easily reach it). But until today we havent had any trouble yet so i consider this a good buy.P.S. I'm from Estonia and this kind of bikes cost at least 2x more here.

Good bike, one tire is flat. Which Is pretty unfortunate. Daughter couldn't ride on her birthday. Still needing to see if the tyre has a puncher or just has no air in.

We bought this bike for our daughter for her 5th birthday. She absolutely looks it although it was a little big for her even though the seat was all the way down she had to tiptoe to touch the ground. My husband found it easy to assemble (under my guidance)best to use your own tools. The bike looks a lot more expensive and is worth the money. Our daughter is now 6 and a lot more confident on her bike as her feet are now fully on the ground. The bike is still going strong after almost 1 year on even though it has not been used as much as it could have been over the last year I am sure she will have a good amount of years with this well made bike until she grows out of it.

We went through a lot of hoops to find this little gem of a bike. We had been to may shops to find a perfect bike with a 6 year olds wishes. My daughter is 110cm tall and is on tiptoes with this bike. So it even has some growing space. The paintwork is a deep purple with a glittery fleck. It's a good build and didn't take long to put together. It all fitted together nicely. It even has some nice touches, like a bell ,handle tassels and a chain guard. If your looking for a light well built girls bike I would recommend it and so would my daughter. She loves it.

i bought this last friday and said it was gonna be here monday, but turnt up sat morn so was over the moon, put it together tuesday, was very simple to do so, but had 1 problem. it had a puncture on the rear! really annoyed abt it as that was the only part of the bike i didnt have to assemble, and puncture was un-repairable so ive had to buy a new inner tube :o( if i didnt have the problem with the puncture id of given it a 5 star.
