Luke's Coat Is Shiny
I'm a Rover dog sitter and a mama of the needy, abused, and neglected animals that I adopt or they somehow find me. My Luke (big Red Tick Hound mix) was full of medical issues when I adopted him at 6 years old. Recovering from Lyme tick disease, inflamed ears, bone thin, a scared to death, it was love at first sight on my end. He is presently 9 years old. It took 2 years for me to see him actually wag his tail, even with all of the love I give him. As he is aging, I was looking into supplements for his joints. I ended up stumbling across fish oils in my search, and since Luke's coat has always appeared too dry, I chose this particular brand. I picked it not just for the price, but the fact that is is from "Wild Caught" Salmon (no hormones/chemicals from farm raised). I think another reason was the "Caution" label. It says, "Caution, the contents of this bottle will make your dog happy." That's why I mentioned the tail wagging previously. Luke pays no mind to any kind of toy. Sometimes he will halfheartedly eat. The food I feed is top notch, grain free. My goal with Luke has been to bring him happiness that was stolen from him, replaced by neglect and abuse of his younger years. As I'm writing this second, I've just now decided that since I've written this much, I'm going to upload his picture as well before sending. The first photo is where you can count his vertebrae a few days after I got him. The following pictures are what a little love and care can do. To this day (and I've been blessed with Luke for 3 years now) he has NEVER walked over to me to receive attention such as being petted. I always go to him to give attention. His happiness beams through when he knows we're going for a walk. He shows high interest in treats, but never showed excitement for his food. He would often leave a portion in his bowl or not eat at all. It was sad to see him unresponsive to so many things that stimulate other dogs. His previous owner obviously did a real good amount of damage. Back to the fish oil. Since I started squirting this on his food, he eats his whole cup, two times a day. His coat shines now! It has a slick, soft feel now and looks sleek. When I'm stirring the oil into the food, he stands waiting, and follows me into where his den is to eat. Before, I had to call him multiple times. Not any more. I didn't mark it on the calendar, but I believe it took about 3 weeks to see what I would call a remarkable difference in his coat. I believe I'm on bottle number 3, but I also have 4 dogs, all of which receive this oil and they absolutely LOVE it. My Marla gets so excited, she starts barking and running circles (she didn't do that before). When I have house guests (boarders) that are on dry food alone, they look as I prepare bowls with anticipation. However, here is a strong point that I'd like to make. When I placed one of my house guest's food down for her, she went to eat from her bowl, but then looked up at me like, "Why does my food not smell like the smell I picked up on when you were prepping my food?" That's because I didn't put oil in hers because she was not my dog. She took a bite, and looked up at me again. Being that Lottie is a repeat house guest of multiple times and I have very good rapport with her owner, I squirted 2 squirts of the oil on her food as well. Let's just say, she didn't look up at me until her bowl was empty. I have 3 back up bottles so that I never run out of this oil. I have NO need to pursue another brand. This one is fantastic and the price beats all of the other brands that are "wild caught" oils. Yes, you can get fish oil for cheaper, but it is not 100% natural and contains preservatives (by the way-this seller's oil doesn't need preservatives nor refrigeration). You can also pay more for exactly the same thing. Luke and my other dogs thank you, seller and producer!

Went bad just being in the fridge and made my dog very sick
I had this in the fridge and would sprinkle it over my dogs food periodically. It is too high in calories to use the entire bottle up fast, and that has never been an issue until now. I bought this in July of 2018 and now in Feb. of 2019 its caused my dog to have two separate gastro incidences a day apart--so I know it was related to the two days I put this on his food as a treat. I also believe this product had more than a mere 8 reviews when I bought it back then...otherwise its not likely I would have purchased it. I like to see reviews. So this leads me to believe they had to create entire new listings for this product, whoever or where the actual manufacturer is I'm unsure, because the reviews got pretty bad. PROCEED WITH CAUTION...cheaper is not better when your dog is having accidents all over your rawhide rug, TWICE.

Works great
I have a 13 year old chihuahua that has arthritis . He has a hard time getting up or even walking sometimes. But I started putting this in his food and he's doing so much better. He's not having any noticable symptoms or pain.

I'm still using it because I feel it's probably good for our dog's health
We add this to our dog's food in the hopes she'll be more interested in eating but it hasn't worked for that purpose. That said, I'm still using it because I feel it's probably good for our dog's health.
