Original Hobby Cast JR Series 4 Cavity Silicone Mold Tube-in Label Casting

These molds work great for pen blank casting. They are durable and release the blacks easily. I liked these so much I bought the slimline molds also.

Good product, I just failed to realize it was for 1 specific type of pen, so I bought something I can't use as I am not producing JR Series pen sets. I might suggest a universal mold, and also square out the inside, the rounded edges would not allow for a good grip with the centering chuck on my midi lathe.

I love the item but it is defective. I finally got my nerve up to try this product and when I went to place the tubes in the mold the holes for the tops as well as the bottoms are the same size. This is a defect because the tubes on the bottoms are smaller and so are the plugs the prevent the resin from seeping out. The plugs for the smaller tubes are not big enough to plug the sides of the mold to prevent the resin from leaking out. totally useless. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

CAME BENT ON ONE SIDE MAKING IT USELESS. SENT IT BACK AND WENT WITH PTOWN SUBBIE AND LIZARD MOLDS. LITTLE MORE PRICEY, BUT DAMN WELL WORTH IT
