I use this along with the "VOVOLY Professional Zester Grater Slider attachment" to grate ginger, horseradish, and other hard-to-grate foods. I had bee using a microplane but the result was too fine and it was more mush than particles. This thing is great and the slider attachment keeps you from grating your fingers.

Value for your money. Does the same job as the name brand products at a fraction of the price. Wish the handle was more substantial though. Kind of skinny for my liking
