This is working great! I no longer have to call Cesar Milian. My dog Was the worst would bark at everything! She is a rescue and is so afraid of things too. But as soon as the beep goes off she stops. I have used it for 3 days now, oh and we no longer get woken up in middle of night wiith her excessive barking{for no reason}UPDATE : HAD on for several weeks collar is soft. I have as small as it will go, very loose but works great. If you have multiple dogs that bark near the one with collar, the speaker will pick up the other barkers and the collar will beep. Nala has learned on her own to move away from other dogs when they are barking.What happens : when Nala barks it will beep, the more she barks the more it beeps, if she continues it then vibrates with beeping. Battery lasts long, haven't needed to change yet. It only takes one battery, it came with 2 which is nice.

I wasnt going to leave a review, but literally every day if not every other day I have been getting an email about this product and asking me to review it. It does everything it says it will, and it performs perfectly. The problem is that it became useless on my dog after a week and a half. I have an 8lb chihuahua, and she quickly learned that the buzz doesnt actually hurt, so she will bark through it. She also learned the noise range she can get away with, so she now has become a master at quiet barking, which is still pretty loud. I would have expected it to be more sensitive towards these smaller barks, but thats not the point. I feel like if an 8lb dog can bark through it, then any dog can bark through it. While each dog is different, the point remains that a small dog like this doesn't care about it, which means any dog can deal with it if they want to bark badly enough. I want to give this product a good review because it has good quality and performs exactly as advertised, but it just doesn't work for my dog, and I will have to upgrade to a shock collar it seems, which I really didn't want to do.

I've put this on my Cathoula and he has definitely quieted down a lot. If he does bark, it's usually only once. The only thing I had negative to say was that sometimes it goes off when they are playing together and it's on the table. If they start barking at each other or getting rough when playing with their toys they set off the sensor in the other room. It's a bit too sensitive at times.

I have a terrier poodle mix so he's a pretty small dog and he barks constantly 😣 so i was really looking forward to this collar hoping it would help. Well it's definitely not made for a small dog at all!! The collar is way to long and every time my dog shook his head it come lose. So I put the bark thing on a smaller collar and it works alright.....just wish this was really made for a small dog as advertised

My rescue Samoyed was true to breed--noisy, intelligent, , headstrong and hard to train. Within a month of adopting him, he barked so loudly if I left even to go to the mailbox, or walk my chihuahuas, it drove me nuts. He also wanted the most expensive chewy treats in the cabinet all day long,and barked constantly anytime I was near his feeding area. Within an hour of fixing this collar, due to beeps only, the barking problem was 90% over. Due to his double thick coat, I didn't even bother trying to get the prongs in contact with his skin. So no vibration effect. But the beeping stopped the barking. I love this product.

My dog barks occasionally. Only when people come to the door. But she growls all day at sounds in the house. I have a baby and can't have her random barks startling him. Tried this, and it doesn't work all the time. It might vibrate when she is walking, and the beep only happens sometimes. So she does'nt care, just barks through the Beep. This might work for a dog that constantly barks...but definitely didn't work for us.

The unit itself looked good and was of a reasonable size and weight. But couldn't even truly test it out for effectiveness because the collar is made of such a cheap slippery-ish material that it can't support the weight of the unit and doesn't stay buckled at the correct adjustment length. I imagine that most people who have reported that the unit isn't working may not realize the collar isn't strong or textured enough to keep the unit snug against their pet's skin (rather than surface fur / hair). I wouldn't have minded paying a higher price for a better quality collar. Some reviewers mention cutting and / or burning the collar as a fix but I didn't want to do that without knowing if the unit itself would be effective and I'd be keeping it.

It was difficult to get a good fit on my 13-lb. pet. Once the fit was “close enough”, I think the collar was pretty effective. My dog typically only gets to level two now (there are seven levels). There are still instances when she ignores the beeping and vibrating, but overall, I would say her barking has decreased significantly.My dog also has aggression issues with certain dogs— in the form of snarling and growling. I have not yet tried the collar on her when she is in this mode, but I’m not sure the collar will be effective for that behavior. Like I said before, however, barking has definitely become less of an issue.
