Even when I let my beard grow out due to laziness, the clipper cuts right through it without any issues. 2. Impressive Battery Life: The battery life is remarkable. I received this clipper almost two months ago and fully charged it upon arrival (as recommended for lithium-ion batteries). I haven’t needed to charge it since. I typically use it twice a week, so that’s 16 uses over two months, and the battery is still above 90%. I’m genuinely amazed, though keep in mind that battery life can vary based on your usage. 3. User-Friendly: It’s extremely easy to use. The clipper comes pre-oiled, which initially made me think it had been used, but that’s just how it’s shipped. The manufacturer ensures it’s ready for use straight out of the box. Cons: I haven’t encountered any negatives. Immediately took it for a test drive as soon as it came, and is it great. Not just because the clipper has a digital display and looks pretty slick overall. I'm not a stylist or anything, but I cut my own hair once every 2-3 weeks to keep my hair short. Before using this, I'd been rocking a budget Wahl cordless clipper I got last Prime Day. In comparison, this comes a mile ahead. The RPM adjustment makes cutting through hair, even at the wrong angle, a breeze as long as it touches the blade when set to 9000 RPM. It definitely cuts with ease here. Setting it at a lower RPM made it easier to adjust fading. Moreover, the clipper actually seems to be compatible with most of my older Wahl guards. While the clippers only include a #1 to #4, if you happen to already have a set of old guards from a different Wahl hair clipper, it seems like it should fit the same. Also, the charging is surprisingly faster than my old clippers. It has a dock for charging, but if you somehow can’t bring your dock, you can also charge alternatively through USB-C. How about this paragraph about battery life I inserted before the ending, "The battery life is displayed in minutes of cutting available- higher settings are adjusted to use more battery. That said, its advertised to run 3.5 hours on max setting, so… I surprisingly don’t need to charge too often? Once every 4 haircuts, for me. Pretty good. This turned out to be a bigger upgrade from my old clippers than I thought after writing... Ah, I did end up accidentally touching the RPM adjustment a few times during cutting. It’s a little sensitive but only adjusts by 100 RPM per tick. It wasn’t noticeable when I accidentally touched the dial because of my own mishandling—big plus.

I shaved the sides and back of my hair and wear braids at the top. The first time I had someone shave it for me, but I knew I wanted to maintain it on my own because it needs to be trimmed every 2 weeks. I found these and they seemed like quality clippers. I had never used clippers before, but they were very self explanatory and easy to use. The guards allowed me to keep the length consistent. It came with a smock as well, which was useful for cleanup. I was able to use it twice, two weeks apart, without charging it. I remembered to charge it in advance the third time I used it, so I'm not sure if they would've gone another time. They look sleeks, they are sharp and efficient, and being cordless is a plus.

Haircuts have happened at home for a LOT of years. Numerous clippers have been employed, many under-powered, some used outside their intended use. This set seems to be the real deal! With a rechargeable battery, the wireless feature is nice. Numerous adjustments are on the machine and the whole thing just feels solid. Though we are anything but professional, this is a great set for home use, which is how we use it. Can't speak to the professional side...
