The item arrived promptly and well packaged. I recently had issues with a 20 strong flock of sparrows that were emptying my sunflower heart feeder almost every day. They were also chasing the other birds away. An online video suggested tying strands of fishing line to dangle down over the perches, because sparrows have poor eyesight and it disorientates them. I put some line on weighted down with rawl plugs ( they were the closest thing to hand) and to my amazement, they've been 100% successful. The other birds seem oblivious to the line and the sparrows keep away.

I doubt if the fish would see this - you certainly can't see it when I hang my white paper snowflake pompoms on them in the windows for Christmas decorations also to thread my vintage baubles on to the tree and also to tie my Christmas garland to the staircase. This nylon line is excellent quality and will be great for many more jobs, if I take up fishing it will become even more useful!

Not quite as invisible as I was hoping for, but its done the job.I wanted to hang my vintage Star Wars ships from the ceiling and the only fishing line I had from when I used to fish was brown - and that looked terrible against a white ceiling.I know this isn't a review that you'd necessarily expect because I'm not using the line for actually fishing, but for if you did want some line to hang something from the ceiling, this stuff works a treat.If you are looking to do something like this, the best knot to use I believe is a blood knot. Took me a while to get it right as its been years since I last tied one, but they've been up on the ceiling for a couple of months now and are still looking good.

nice strong clear wire . great for making beaded items and ao much cheaper than jewelry wire . i used it double for sone handles on a chrochet laundry bag. Very strong

Bought this to remove a car number plate which was stuck on with sticky pads.Absolutely impossible by hand, and was concerned that the clear coat lacquer on the car may be damaged.Used this product and it was similar to a hot knife through butter.It left part of the sticky pad on the car and part on the old number plate.A quick rub with WD40 and then white spirit and the car was ready for its new plate - brilliant!P.S. Only used 2 feet of line - might take up fishing to use the remainder :)

The fish line is very strong, but the problem I found with it is that the line is to thick, I have tried to fishing with it, and didn't get a bite, the fish can spot it and turn away. I changed my spool with my usual line and 20 minutes later got a bite. Probably only good for tieing balloons. Don't recommend for fishing.

I did not buy this for fishing. That is a barbaric pastime. But I did buy it to restring my favourite bracelet (with other small dimensional holed stones) into a beautiful necklace! So, very happy.
