I am quite impressed with the quality of this SSD drive. It’s small, compact, and works perfectly with my son’s Xbox One S, though I wish it came with a protective case for safer transportation. Setting it up is straightforward, but you’ll need to format it for use with the Xbox—luckily, there are plenty of video tutorials online that explain the process step by step. Once configured, it functions seamlessly.What really stands out are the advertised read and write speeds, which rival those of more expensive SSDs like the Crucial X9 Pro that I’ve used recently. It’s a Plug-and-Play device that does exactly what it promises, offering extra storage without any hassle. Overall, this is an excellent product, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

This external SSD has a sleek premium look and feel, with metal casing incorporating a single USB-C port, power light and a magnetic ring. The box includes a couple of adhesive-backed rings to stick down. Three USB cables are also included, including a couple of short flat right-angled USB-C cables. Capacity is 5000GB though in practice not all that space is available. My phone is slowing down these days so speeds were variable depending on what I was copying and slowed down as the drive filled but overall performance is very good so I'm very happy with this drive, it is very compact and portable with an excellent capacity.

Nice design, very light, and the magnetic base is great for easy fixing.The drive arrives formatted exFat, so the first job was to reformat for my own requirements to NTFS. I now have it mounted on the rear of a TV, fixed to the steel VESA bracket. This method of fixing avoids the need for a long USB lead, and the short one enclosed with the drive is ample. If need be, the drive can be removed very quickly, with lead left in the TV. No extra/external power is required to run the drive.This drive is only used for video/audio recordings, and doesn't come close to reaching the full transfer-speed potential of the drive... according to the specs.It comes with a little cloth bag if being used on-the-go, and a couple of smaller cables (in addition to the one I use for the TV).The premium paid for this particular model against many others out there is down to the transfer speeds. There are plenty others of 1TB for around the same cost, but if speed is the main requirement, this could be the one to go for. If the one received here had been for PC use, I would of course have run a test to see the real-world results myself. The next time it's removed from the TV, I'll certainly check it out, and report back if they're way off the mark.There's a decent discount available at time of writing, which is reflected in the rating:On a quality/value-for-money basis.... 5-Stars.

This review is for the fanxiang 500GB Magnetic External SSD. It is a solid drive, with metal case that adds weight compared to the 1TB rectangular non-magnetic one I have had for a while and been very pleased with. It comes with 2 sticky metal rings that can enable it to stick to a plastic surface such as a phone case.It comes formatted with ExFAT and passed my validdrive test fully and speedily. I use it for moving video files between devices. They supplied 2 short right-angled flat cables usb-c to usb-c and a usb-a to usb-c short but standard cable. Packaging is apple style and gift worthy with a black cloth bag for storage.

This magnetic external SSD is very portable and good for professionals. It's made of aluminium alloy and helps me access my data quickly.

I’m quite impressed with this drive, it’s very small (a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures).I was looking for a drive to play my music when I’m driving, this one sits nicely in my car in the centre console and looks great. There is a light to show when the drive is active.I used the drive doctor app on my MacBook to format the drive, copied the contents from my other ssd across. Just under 300gb in around 20 minutes no issues at all.The drive comes with a travel bag/cover, a usb a-c cable and a couple of short usb c-c cables plus a couple of magnetic stick on rings if you wanted to attach the drive somewhere.No issues so far with this drive, if you are looking for a different more compact shaped drive then I can recommend this one.

I haven't performed too much testing of this, but I do love the product.The casing is tiny, but ideal for attaching to a MagSafe phone, but I am using mine to extend my storage on my MacMini.I have tried it with a few different Lightning to USB-C Cables, and cannot get it to be read from either my Lightning based iPhone or iPad, but I don't have a USB-C based one to test with.The SSD comes with 2 small USB C to C cables, and one longer USB A - C cable, which will cover most devices.When I've used it with my MacMini it's transferred a few files over nice and quickly. I'm yet to perform any analytics with it, but It works fine for general purposes and the speeds everything was transferring leads me to believe there wouldn't be any issues at all.Considering going for the bigger 2TB version.

The SSD works great, with very high transfer rates(exceeded 400MB/s in my testing). The included cables for connecting to your phone are very nice and very convenient. The magnet is just strong enough to attach to a magnetic Samsung Galaxy phone(s24 series in my tests), but with a magnetic case or the included rings it holds *extremely* firm. The shell is well-made, and provides plenty of cooling for the drive, as well as extreme impact resistance. The compact size makes it suitable for leaving attached to a phone for extended periods without gettign in the way significantly.

Sehr praktische und kleine Festplatte, mit der man schnell und sicher sein Handy sichern kann. Oder auch sonst alles machen kann, was man mit einer größeren so erledigt. Tolles Ding, klare Empfehlung!

Disque dur externe acheté pour enregistrer des vidéos 4K filmées avec un IPhone 15.Branché sur mon IPhone 15 pro et tout de suite reconnu par le téléphone, j'utilise l'appli de Black magic. Les vidéos s'enregistrent directement sur ce disque externe ( grâce a l'appli de Black magic ) sans passer par la mémoire du téléphone. Branché à mon ordi je récupère facilement les vidéos, bien pratique ! Ce disque dur chauffe un peu, même lorsque le téléphone n'est pas utilisé, il y a une petite lumière allumée donc toujours alimenté ce qui vide un peu la batterie même au repos, donc prévoir de quoi recharger le téléphone si vous partez la journée pour filmer. Sinon, livraison effectuée rapidement, j'ai le produit depuis 2 semaines et pas de problèmes, reste a voir dans le temps.....

Parece de buena pinta la caja de calidad y empaketado muy buenos ahora tengo ke ver ke tal funciona esperemos ke bien pero lo unico quele falta despues de provarlo es un conector extra de carga para carga el teléfono por lo demas bien pero tener ke desenchufar el disco duro cada vez que recargues el telefono es un poco engorroso y fastidio si tubiera una entrada usb de carga seria genial.
