For the price this is good value. It doesn't need wired so offers a quick solution to basic data capture.

Awful product and awful customer service. The counter has never worked properly- this is the second unit we have received, the first returned as it didnt work at all. We have had communication with the seller since purchase about issues, they would give an instructions to fix it after a week or so, the instructions dont work, and back to waiting for a response. I have asked for a full refund as they can see we have never had an operational device but no response. We have lost out on a whole year worth of data at this point

I was so underwhelmed when I received this. It arrives in a small plain brown cardboard box. Inside are the 2 units, a magnetic reset key, 4 self-adhesive pads and a single sheet instruction page. The units themselves look like they have been designed and built using kit parts from Maplins. The plastic feels cheap and tacky. 4 AAA batteries (not supplied) are required to power the devices. The instructions are severely lacking. A QR code gave a glimmer of hope that more comprehensive instructions would be available, but it just takes you to their WhatsApp page. Despite that the units are fairly simple to use - add the batteries, set them up facing each other and they start counting. They are sensitive, possibly too sensitive. They are supposed to default to counting every second movement, but in my tests, they picked up every movement no matter how small in both directions, so single visitors would be (at least) double counted - once on arrival and once on exit. That appears to be mode 1, but I couldn't work out how to switch to mode 2 and the instructions didn't help me. I also struggled to reset the device because, again, the instructions were too vague, but after trial and error, I managed to work out what to do with the key. According to the listing "Does not respond to a wave of the hand, short-term signal loss and other minor interference" but I found that not to be the case, I could trigger a count with exactly that - a wave of the hand. At the time I received these, they were £120. I don't really have any frame of reference but given this is just an IR transmitter and an IR receiver in cheap plastic cases that seems far in excess of their true value. It's a niche product and may be exactly what you are looking for, but I don't think that price is close to being justifiable when they can't even provide reasonable instructions and a 4 pack of batteries.

I used this to track how many people came to my charity event, and it worked perfectly. It was easy to set up and use straight out of the box, which was a big help when I was already busy with other event preparations. The counter records hourly and daily stats, so I could keep an eye on the numbers throughout the day without any fuss. The device itself feels well-made and reliable. It runs on batteries, so I didn’t need to worry about plugging it in or finding a power source, which was ideal for the event space. It’s also compact and unobtrusive, which made it easy to place by the entrance. Overall, it’s a really handy tool for keeping track of visitors, and I can see it being useful for all kinds of events or even retail spaces. I’m really pleased with how well it worked.

CONS -not as accurate as I expected it to be, for such an expensive product -no manual -I’d prefer a built-in battery that can be recharged in the units, to the removable batteries it does run on (which are not included, odd in such an expensive product) -plasticky (not a great build) -it’s not supposed to count a wave of the hand, but it does -unexpectedly pricey, given what you’re getting PROS -unobtrusive -quite small NOTES -I want to use the “every second pass” mode, so I can get an accurate count of people coming in and out of the space (which has only one entrance/exit), but I couldn’t work out how to activate this mode (it counts every person’s passage, in both directions) MY STAR RATINGS: 1* substandard, mostly cons 2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros 3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros 4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons 5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

Device was easy to install and SD card with DATA very handy for great reports!

This person counter is a great solution for small businesses and large businesses alike. It is a little bit on the more expensive side, but that is due to it's accuracy and modern benefits. It is very accurate and counts those on the way in and it's yours that it's not doubled on the way out. It's a very smart device. I think it's worth the money considering all that it can provide a small business or a large business even.

CONTAPERSONE WIRELESS, PERCHÉ SI ⭕non richiede la presenza fissa di una persona all’ingresso ⭕non richiede particolari e costanti attenzioni ⭕non richiede fonti di corrente nei paraggi (questa soluzione in particolare è alimentata da quattro batterie AAA, due per sensore) ⭕non è “viziata” dall’errore umano CONTAPERSONE WIRELESS, DUBBI E PERPLESSITÀ 🔴è una soluzione costosa, specialmente se paragonata ad un semplice contapersone 🔴deve essere installato con precisione 🔴il passaggio di due o più persone affiancate viene contato come “singolo” ingresso 🔴eventuali ostacoli tra i sensori precludono il corretto conteggio (banalmente una persona che si ferma a parlare davanti all’ingresso) Nella confezione troviamo: - 4 adesivi - 2 sensori - 1 chiave per il reset - 1 manuale Nel manuale sono spiegate ed illustrate le corrette modalità di installazione ed utilizzo; il contatore può essere resettato grazie all’apposita chiave magnetica presente nella confezione, basta appoggiarla per tre secondi ed il contatore ripartirà dall’inizio (questo ci mette al riparo da eventuali e spiacevoli manomissioni, anche se, ad onor del vero, una semplice calamita avrà lo stesso effetto). I due sensori sono simili per materiali e dimensioni, uno tuttavia è dotato di display LCD e nessuno dei due presenta led o fonti luminose, facendo della discrezione un punto di forza. Il singolo sensore pesa una manciata di grammi (pesano di più le due pile, non incluse), ed è dotato di un foro posteriore per agevolare il fissaggio a muro. Non è tanto grande, misura infatti 5,5 cm x 8,5 cm x 2 cm. La coppia va installata in modo preciso, uno di fronte all’altro, ad un’altezza da terra di circa 1,2 metri e ad una distanza che non superi i 5 metri. Sul display, oltre al contatore leggiamo altre due informazioni importanti: 🟡icona di corretto posizionamento (un quadrato che, se visualizzato, avvisa che il sensore è posizionato bene ed il dispositivo funzionerà correttamente) 🟡segnale di batteria bassa Il sistema di rilevamento garantisce una registrazione affidabile e una conta automatica delle persone, evitando possibili errori di conteggio. Ovviamente essendo automatizzato è soggetto ad errori “tecnici”, come il conteggio nel caso di passaggio della stessa persona anche a distanza di pochi istanti, o il mancato conteggio in occasione di passaggio multiplo o nel caso in cui qualcuno ostruisse la visuale di uno dei due sensori. ⭐⭐⭐⭐CONCLUDENDO⭐⭐⭐⭐ Un contatore di persone che funziona con tecnologia a infrarossi e che offre un'efficiente soluzione per il monitoraggio del flusso di persone. E’ wireless e facile da installare, inoltre può monitorare ingressi larghi fino a 5 metri; certo non è perfetto e ci sono alcuni fattori da prendere in considerazione, ma per monitorare l’ingresso ad una mostra d’arte è perfetto. Chiudo con due consigli sull’uso: ⚫posizionateli seguendo le istruzioni, evitando la luce diretta del sole oppure oggetti tra i due sensori (anche una porta di vetro potrebbe falsare i risultati) ⚫basta una calamita per cancellare il contatore

When I first saw this counter I thought it might be a cool upgrade for my coffee shop, but then I was held back by the price. But then I asked myself how much I was willing to pay for reliable statistical data that I can use to improve client conversion and increase profits. Turned out, $200 wasn’t such a great price to pay. I read the reviews which said it was very accurate and easy to use so I decided to go ahead and order it. The product wasn’t a disappointment. The description is correct and 100% reliable. I’m happy I convinced myself into buying this device, it’s really worthy.

Man muss den Zähler über Minitasten einstellen, Datum, Zeit und Zählweise. Das ist mit den kleinen Tasten sehr, sehr fummelig. Auch wenn man die Daten auslesen will muss man sich durch dieses Mini Menu kämpfen. Ansonsten macht er was er soll, allerdings ein wenig störend das das Display immer die kumulierten Daten anzeigt und sich nicht jeden Tag oder jede Woche wieder auf Null setzt, d.h. wenn man genauere Daten will muss man jeden Tag ablesen oder regelmässig die Daten auslesen, was eben ein wenig nervig ist, wegen des kleinen Displays und der winzigen Tasten. Das ganze ist ungefähr so komfortable wie die Programmierung einer LCD Uhr mit schlechten Tasten.
