50 pk. Clear Bobbins 102261103 (SA156) - Elna, Janome, Kenmore

When I got my Janome sewing machine and needed different bobbins than my old machine used I came here to look for some. I was increasingly frustrated by reviewers who stated "these work great in my janome", or "these didn't work at all in my Janome. Or these were cheaply made, were off center and broke easily". Those reviews were of absolutely no help. Isn't the purpose of writing a review to help others decide to purchase or not? What good does it do if you don't state which sewing machine these did or did not work in? What vendor sent defective bobbins?? So here is my review: I purchased these from Blue Lake. They were suppose to arrive sometime between Nov. 10 and Nov. 28. They arrived Nov. 7, way before I was expecting them. Because of the mixed reviews, I was anxious to check them out and see what the quality was like and whether or not they would work. These particular bobbins from Blue Lake were perfect and looked and felt just like the ones I bought for much more at Joann's (I couldn't wait, I had to buy some to continue with my projects). The ones I got with my machine had a blue tint to them. These are totally clear. That's the only difference I could see. I immediately wound one and put it in my Janome Magnolia 7330. It fit and worked perfectly! I have since used others and they are all perfect! One more thing; the ones I got at Joann's were 15J. These are exactly like those. So if you can use the 15J's in your machine, these will work. And what a great price!!

I don’t usually write bad reviews but I feel that I have to with this product. Out of numerous bobbins bought in January of this year I am now throwing away the last one.This product is cheap and cannot handle more than half a bobbin’s full of thread. If you push to fill the entire bobbin with thread it pops one end off kilter thus making tension and sewing impossible. Won’t mention the wastefulness of being forced to throw away the bobbin full of thread when this happens.

Great purchase with great price; it took a while to arrive about 3 weeks, but it was ok with me and the amazone already told me; it wasn't urgent purchase in any way. My only concern was that I didn't see letter j on the bobbin as I was expecting. When I put my order, I took the item # from my Janome sewing machine manual and searched for it in google, I found it on amazone.com with the same item # exactly, that made me put my order immediately, in the manual they assured us to buy this specific item # that should have letter j on. Surprisingly, the item that I got has the same item # but with no letter j. I am just hopping it will not ruin my machine on the long run as it is working great now. Still I am happy with my order and these bobbins are time saver and rescuer.

After reading reviews about problems with these I was concerned that they might be slightly out of spec and not work correctly, but the price was so tempting I ordered them anyway. I have a Brother XR1300 and these work flawlessly. I was afraid the inner hole might be too small but was ready to run a drill through them if necessary to make them fit. It wasn't necessary. As near as I can tell they are the same dimensions as the ones that came with the machine. They do have a lower level of fit and finish, there is some leftover plastic from where they are molded but if one desired a fingernail file would clean that up in seconds. If I fill all these up and need more I'll order another 50.

I love the bobbins. They are great quality at a great price, Will definitely be reordering. 5 stars all the way

I bought these to go with my Brother XR9500PRW machine. It was difficult finding out which bobbins were going to fit it - the model number isn't listed as compatible with a lot of bobbins. I tried this based on some searching i had done and so far I think it's perfect. They arrived in a box with a zip-sealed bag and had no real store packaging with them so I don't have much to go with other than the assumption that they are consistently going to be the same - I think they arrived from China and they seemed to take quite a while to get to me. But as I wasn't in a horrible rush I am OK with it.

I purchased two packs of these bobbins as I can't find the Janome bobbins at sewing stores any longer. What a disappointment! They fit very tightly on my Janome HT2008, and one actually broke as I was trying to pry it off the bobbin spindle. I'm afraid of breaking the spindle, so can't use them. The two I did manage to fill worked fine, but I can't risk breaking my machine to wind these. They should not have been advertised as fitting Janome.

I purchased my bobbins from the Zipper Stop Company. They don't work well in either of my brother machines. The bobbin thread ends up stitching on the front and the needle thread ends up stitching on the bottom. A little butt backwards, so they are not the best bobbins out there. I don't like playing with the tension on my bobbin case, because I don't have the money to buy a backup one. Once you start playing with the tension, you can never get it back exactly where it was before. I have purchased sewing items for the company listed on the web page, so I am not saying anything bad about them. Just be careful what you order. It's so hard sometimes to order online, because you can't always pretest items before buying. I have decided to ONLY PURCHASE GENUINE Brother accessories, bobbins, and feet for my two Brother machines.Have a blessed day.Debra M. Connis

They came packed very tightly in a small envelope. Almost all of them were cracked because of this inadequate packaging. Also, they seem to be very lackluster, covered in tiny scratches and almost rough - I compare them to the box of bobbins that I have had for seven years and the seven year old ones have a glassy shine to them.These feel super cheap and there is no way I am putting these in my beloved machine. I am afraid these were a waste.

This item arrived later than the estimated time frame and I received a package with a single bobbin, not 50 as stated in the listing. I am very disappointed.

As an avid sewer/quilter, I am always in need of a supply of bobbins. I was placing an order for another product and added these on a whim.They took a long time to arrive and are of a fair quality.They'll "do the job" but I suspect they will not last long. However, they were not expensive.I have been using them for a very short time at this time. Another order may be placed depending on how well they work and how long they last, I'll need to keep in mind the weeks it takes for them to arrive at my destination.

les bobines sont mal finies, elles accrochent le fil et de plus elles ne font pas dans ma machine Janome car elles sont trop minces. Pourtant c'était écrit qu'elles faisaient pour une Janome. N'achetez pas ce produit, vous serez déçus. Une chance que c'était pas cher. J'ai commandé sur amazon, des vraies bobines pour Janome!

As described,I'm redoing my review on this product. I've tried using these in my new brother sewing machine and they have a tendency to skip and ball up. Not all of them, maybe 50% but it's a pain. I'll be going to back to my mom's 40 year old bobbins for her singer.
