Vcansion Women's Lightweight Packable Poncho Wind Hooded Raincoat Coat

I'm only giving this product 4 stars for now because I haven't put it to the test yet. I'm going on a trip to Costa Rica and will test it out there, since it does rain on and off there. The material seems sturdy. The fit is a little big but it's will be perfect if you decide to layer or wear a day pack for hiking. I also love the design, much nicer than the cheaper ones at Walmart. So we'll see how it does on my trip!

It's not as pink as the picture, and while the product info said one size fits all, the label says XL. I was torn between started at 4 stars but lowered the rating after wearing it a couple times. It is going to work for me, but barely. The shoulders are raglan and the sleeves are long - plenty of room in the shoulders, but from the arms down this coat hangs straight and is approximately 48" around when fastened. I'm 5'5" and about 125 pounds and could wear a puffy jacket under it, but the hips are not as spacious - just 48" of material - and it opens when I walk. It could bind on a large woman. There are no pockets. The coat buttons to the man's side. It is a step up from the plastic ponchos but that's all.

The raincoat was just a little bit small for me in that it fit well until I put a sweater or sweatshirt on underneath it then it was slightly tight. I just wish they had a larger size. Also it doesn't have pockets. I really like to have pockets in my coats. But on the plus side it was a nice length and a great color that can be seen. I ended up giving it to a friend and she loves it.

Super cute poncho, but -- as with all ponchos -- I found there was a major flaw. I found that, since the poncho is open at the sides, water easily got in and got my pants wet. I also found that the clear plastic visor on the hood had been folded in such a way that it kept poking me in the eye haha! I kept trying to flatten it back out, but no matter what I did, it wouldn't 'unfold.' So I returned this and just decided to buy a cheap raincoat instead.Overall a very cute, good quality poncho... if you like ponchos :)

It is a fine lightweight rain coat. I just use it out back when I am feeding the chickens. Fashion was not an issue, as the chickens seem to not care about such things, but the hood is abnormally small. It covers only the back half of my head. Only way for it to work, is to also wear a baseball cap and cinch the hood as much as you can with the incredibly short strings. Obviously you get what you pay for, but I promise you I do not have a Klingon size forehead. Other than that, it is fine for backyard use.

Arrived with massive hole in sleeve :(UPDATE: The first one the company sent had a defect, but they were kind enough refund my money so I could buy another. The new one seems great! Haven't tested it in the rain yet, but it's super cute and seems like it'll do the job.

***updated review****Although the product was damaged in transit, the seller refunded my money. I liked the color and material overall. I will buy another one because I liked it that much. I did discover an extra feature; a visor on the hood, that I really liked.

I wore this poncho during our vacation in Costa Rica. Works great, though it's a skosh larger than I expected. Even so, it kept me warm and dry, and it's long enough to keep your thighs dry, which keeps everything in your pockets dry as well...an advantage during a Costa Rican rainstorm! The hood is great, kept the rain out of my hair and face. Love the little visor on it!Glad I bought it!
