excellent for low vision or blind person while not seen by sighted people
My mother has become legally blind. Her blind friend has a method of using raised random cut bits of stickers but that looks tacky. Originally I started with small raised letters, but they are so small I'm not sure tactile feel can tell I put a letter S on microwave start button earlier this year (but it was something and got us going - refer photos). As soon as she knew I had these new totally clear raised dot stickers, my blind mom asked for it to go on microwave cancel button. Now both start and cancel buttons on my microwave have a tactile different feel. Her insistent application request tells me likely she has been struggling with microwave use more than I realize (I leave her during day while I am at work). Microwave itself has slight texture to each button, but since I have sight, I didn't realize it was hard for her to find particular button(s). Shipping on these is high compared to item cost, and only 6 raised dots (6 individual dot stickers) come in package, so my recommendation is purchase more of these clear raised dots than initially you think because over time you will continue to find items needing marked to help your sight impaired loved one. I've included two photos - my overall microwave above stove and then a microwave button close up on the start and cancel button. Raised clear dot from this Amazon order is on the cancel button. I LOVE THIS button because it is clear so I don't feel my microwave is looking junky with visible stickers. I think it also helps her that this button is different (placement and feel) from the start button. The sticky area on these clear circular raised dots helps with adhesion. I expect these clear circular raised dots will stick much longer on microwave (many years probably) than the little letter that is barely sticky (but has lasted months so far, so strong stick despite tiny area). Initially my mom did not want me buying anything raised and was very adverse to the idea of clear raised dots. Sadly in hindsight, I think that was her just resisting her permanent legally blind diagnosis and had nothing to do with raised indicators. I regret not having gotten these sooner. Help your sight impaired loved on and BUY THESE NOW! The sooner they can find and learn how to use things with their impaired sight, the easier long term will be for them. GREAT PRODUCT!!

Just what I needed for my laptop
So as a person with a visual impairment, these are great for my laptop to mark specific keys once installed they are not overly large, but are definitely easy to feel. They are also relatively see-through so they don’t stand out which I like. These also work well, in other situation, such as microwaves, or anything that you need to mark specific buttons.

Overpriced, but work well
I bought these to mark the F and J keys on a keycap set that didn't have indicators for the home row. They work well for this purpose, and I haven't had any issues with them staying on, even with fairly concaved keycaps. But for what these are, and how many you get, the price is way too high.

excellent product for the blind
it does exactly as described. You can as an example put on the F and j keys to locate the letters. I purchased these when the markings on the f and J keys faded. There is nothing wrong with the keyboard so just buy these dots and put them on. They are easy to install.

Product Was Unusable, a Real Disappointment.
The Loc-Dots are part of a sheet of plastic on a backing. You are supposed to carefully pick up an edge of a Loc-Dot, lift it out of the sheet and away from the backing. You are then supposed to press the dot on a keyboard where the target key has been carefully cleaned.I found this impossible. Never was able to remove a dot. The scoring (line cut) around each Loc-Dot is incomplete, so they will not lift away from the plastic sheet, or the backing. And the plastic is tough, so you cannot tear them away. OK. I tried other methods, for example,- using an Exacto knife to cut the perforations more completely. Didn't work, merely chewed up the edges of the dot.- pull up the entire sheet and poke the dots out. Didn't work, either. The dots remained stubbornly a part of the plastic sheet.I could not extract a single Loc-Dot out of the plastic sheet without ripping it. Save your money. Others brands are available, maybe a bit pricey, but I returned my Loc-Dots and am ordering one of the other brands.

Poor QC and not very flexible
I decided to take a chance on these despite some of the negative reviews and high price. I received them and found that only 2 of the 6 dots are usable because they shifted off their protective backing and 4 of them got stuck to the paper "manual" that comes with the dots. I tried one of the dots that was still on its backing, but it didn't stick well to the keys. Part of the problem is that the plastic these are made of is stiff, so it doesn't conform well to keys that have a curve or dip to them. These would work much better if they were more flexible. An alternative I've used in the past: put a drop of clear silicone sealant on they keys. Works well and is easily removable.

Worked perfectly
They came off the packaging easily, did not have to pry it off or cut it out, and stuck to the keyboard easily and permanently. Just make sure you thoroughly clean the keys you'll be placing them on with a cleaner that won't leave a residue.

Perfect sized tiny dots
I have blindness so I use bump dots a lot. These are the little tiny ones that I really like. I put them on my microwave and on my dishwasher without having them protrude out like a wart! These would be perfect for a keyboard And have used them in the past for that purpose too. Glad I finally found the tiny ones!
