My skin is GLOWING
Okay, I was a little nervous to try a chemical peel at home, but this kit made it super easy—and my skin has never looked better. I followed the instructions, started slow, and used the fan brush that comes with it (which makes it feel kinda fancy, not gonna lie). After just a couple uses, my skin looks way smoother, brighter, and more even. Some old acne scars and dark spots are already starting to fade, and my makeup goes on sooo much better now. It does tingle a bit during application, but that’s totally normal and it didn’t irritate my skin at all. This feels like spa results without the price tag. If you’re into skincare and want that glass skin vibe, this is 100% worth it.

Everyone is different. Acids are great when you're careful and intentional with their use..
My experience:I use a 2% BHA nightly (PC brand) and have used acid peels annually in the past. My skin has built up a tolerance because of my regular use. Because of that, this bottle of 30% acid is not so much a "peel" as it is a "boost" for me. I could, in theory, use this a few times a week (at 2-3 minutes per time), following with an intense moisturizer and have no real peeling effect. As long as this is what I am expecting of this bottle - then great. For a person like me/with a similar routine, to get a peel that would mean having to take a few days off to shed like a snake in the privacy of one's home, a stronger peel would be needed OR I would need to leave this on for a longer amount of time and "layer" it up (as in, do a layer, wait, do another layer, wait, then neutralize). Can this strength lighten dark marks and even out skin tone for a person like me even if I am not "peeling"? The answer is yes but it's not a big grand reveal like one might expect with a stronger peel. It can and will even out tone, but not super quickly. It's more of a gradual process and that is totally fine and honestly, the safer way to go (safer as is in, playing it safe with a busy schedule without time to sit at home and shed..not as in health-wise, although, if you're a newbie to peels, starting with a low(er) % and moving up is def. safer than starting high) to get results over time.If you're totally unsure what to expect of this peel, set your timer for 20 seconds and then neutralize. Wait a couple days to see how that works for you. Don't curse the bottle if the first round "did nothing" but give it another go with a longer setting time a few days later. Experiment to see how your skin reacts and then decide if you want to build up from there (either in time or layers or both). For me, I am a person who could use this acid in my regular skin regimen weekly and be fine with it while others might have to sit home and peel for a few days.Everyone is different and when you take acid-based skincare into your own hands, the rule of thumb is: better to be safe than sorry. Start "small" until you find what works for you.

I have seen a lot of results just in one application for only two minutes
When your choose a chemical peel you have to be very very careful and when you use the peel you have to be very very careful! I got the 30% glycolic acid peel and I was going to get the 80% glycolic acid peel however I just decided From the things I read I better start out with a 30% since it was my first time using mine and I’m happy I did I went with Glycolic acid peel because I’m older I have wrinkles, discoloration and scars This is what glycolic acid is supposed to help! On Saturday I did the Peel, I left it on for two minutes, I did feel the burning and prickly right away! I washed it immediately with soda water 2 tablespoons of soda to a couple water except I had 4 tablespoons of soda and 2 cups of water, It neutralizes the Peel. I had it fixed and sitting right beside me when I was doing the peel and I’m happy I did! Splashed my face with it until it was gone I had put a cold washcloth in the fridge raider and I got it out and laid it on my face and then I finished rinsing my face with cold water for a while I let it dry itself and then I put refrigerated Alevera gel on my face! I did the peel on Saturday night and it started peeling on Monday evening and is still kind of feeling today is Wednesday! I just put Alevera gel on my face as the new skin comes in and the old skin falls off it’s just flaky it’s not like your skin it’s just flakes however it seems to have really helped And I only did it the one time so far

Use with caution!!
Compared to my lactic acid peel, this one is very aggressive. The first thing I noticed is that the glycolic peel is very watery. Lactic peel is more like the consistency of a serum. Since the glycolic peel is watery, it is better to apply with sterile gauze lightly wiping it on. A brush can flick the liquid into your eyes. OUCH! Also, you have to neutralize the glycolic peel. I never neutralized the lactic peel. I used 30% in each. I felt the glycolic tingling immediately. I set my timer for 3 mins. I took it off at 2 mins and a half. I have melted a portion of skin off with lactic acid before so it gets the job done. It works well. The day I melted my skin, I thought I didn't need the timer and could go by feel. Wrong bad idea. You don't want to be distracted or winging it on the time with peels. I have zero desire to try TCA peels. I think you can get the same result with other peels less aggressively with no down time. A good cleanser, toner, mask and a lactic peel does the trick for me. I will not likely but the glycolic peel again. I don't like the watery consistency. I ordered it because my lactic peel was not available. Glycolic peels are risky business to me. An accident waiting to happen. As a cosmetologist, I wouldn't do this peel on a friend or a client because it's too aggressive. I neutralized with baking soda and water and my skin sizzled. That was intense. I rinsed with cold water and applied the baking soda again with a cotton pad. I feel you can easily over do it with this peel. I don't recommend for non-professionals. I am licensed and it's not my preferred choice. I will go back to my lactic peel where I feel safe and cozy. I will finish this bottle with extreme care.

Scary
Be warned, this stuff isn’t fun, it is painful and it took a week to start looking like a normal human after use lol
