I had to mill the two sides and the inside of the puller foot to get it to fit the injector I was working on. I suppose it could be done with an angle grinder. This is why I give it a four instead of a five. Everything else works just fine with the tool. In addition it would be more user friendly with instructions but it seems nothing has instructions from Amazon anymore.

Worked perfectly on my Mercedes E320 CDI. Someone rigged the 3rd injector and when she finally back out enough, the copper gasket made a mess in the hole. This tool reamed the surface flat and haven’t had an issue since. Thank you.

Diesel engines use extremely high cylinder pressures to cause the diesel fuel to self ignite. The direct injectors need to be properly sealed against the sealing surface in the cylinder head. For that the surface needs to be clean and free of scratches or other damage. Instead of sending off the head to the machine shop just refresh the sealing surface with this amazing tool kit. Just make sure you put grease on the cutting tip so it helps the reaming process as well as catches the shavings.

I was hoping to use this on a VW 1Z 1.9 TDI, but unfortunately none of the reamers have the correct profile for the VW injector seats. It seems like a pretty high quality tool for the price. All of the cutters are marked with sizes, but some of them are off by up to .25mm in diameter. There are no instructions to tell you which sizes fit which engines, it's up to you to figure out which size you need and how to use it. I work on a lot of engines so I'll keep it around and hopefully I can make use of it in the future.
