These are easy to use. I just add the plastic to the cartridge. It has a light powder smell. It is durable for the job, but bgs are thin plastic. It is worth the money as it is far cheaper than the ones already made.

Pros: definitely saves money and reduces plastic waste. Thick/durable feel.Cons: They do NOT block smell from the dirty diapers as well as other brands I've tried. For me, this is one of the main reasons for using a Diaper Genie instead of a regular trash can, so this will likely be the deciding factor for not repurchasing these. I'm getting tired of my whole house smelling like poop very quickly. They are thick which feels more secure when taking them out, but it also makes them very stiff so I'm taking them out constantly. These don't allow the diapers to move to the sides at all or let the bag "coil" inside the genie like other brands even if i pull out extra slack, they only allow a straight stack of diapers from bottom to top so I'm having to take it out almost daily. Because they are so stiff it sometimes makes them pop out of the dispenser cartridge ring a little, which then doesn't allow the lid to close properly, and I have to try to reinstall the bags while it is in the genie and half full of diapers, which is a pain. The cartridge I'm currently using is an Up&Up cartridge from Target, not sure if a different brand would make a difference. I also have a hard time getting the bag cutter to cut through them, but to be fair our diaper genie has been used for over 4 years between 2 kids so the blade may just be dull.There is a little bit of a learning curve for putting the new bags into the cartridge, but by the 3rd or 4th one I was able to do it pretty quickly and easily.I love the idea of reducing waste and saving money, but overall I don't feel like these are worth it, at least for our family.

These were a good cost effective alternative to buying the refills. Its a little tricky getting them into the original dispenser. But worth it! Does not hold in the smell as well as the original however. You have to pick and choose your battles though.

This diaper pail refill kit works great! I've accumulated three empty cartridges before trying it out, and it was incredibly easy to insert the bag and set it up for use. The bag has a pleasant scent that isn't overpowering, and it feels thicker compared to the off-brand bags we've previously purchased from the store. I'll definitely be purchasing this refill kit again!

Ummm, the scent is kind of faint and doesn't mix well with the smell of dirty diapers. It was a bit awkward getting the bags into the old cartridge. The price is awesome so those things would be no big deal but I don't feel as if this controls the order as well as the Diaper Genie brand refills. I can smell the contents through the bag.I'm currently pregnant again, though, so I'm unsure if it's my heightened sense of smell or if these bags are just subpar as I switched the same week I found out. My husband says he can't smell any difference but he never notices odd smells so Idk.I plan to switch back to the brand's refills and see if there's a difference or if it's just my smelling ability right now. Hoping it's the bags because the smell is strong... It's as if the diapers are in a regular trash can.UPDATE:Went and purchased the actual Diaper Genie brand bags and the difference is night and day. The key to a Diaper Genie is it's bags. No more smell. I'll never purchase these knockoffs again. If you don't want to buy the replacement bags for your Diaper Genie then just use a regular trashcan because there is zero benefit to using a Diaper Genie if you're using these fake bags. The smell is unbearable.
