VERY GOOD Quality at a Terrific Price!
We have a 'Nespresso Essenza Mini' espresso machine. We typically order our espresso pods from Nespresso. But sometimes due to cash flow we need a cheaper option. I'd heard good things about Lavazza so decided to try em out, and I'm so glad we did! We got the decaf variety, in the blue & black box (Decaffeinato Ricco, Intensia 6). The pods work perfectly in our machine, we had no issues whatsoever. They arrived fresh and unexpired etc. The best part is... the quality is surprisingly par with Nespresso! Each pod creates a decent amount of crema, and the depth of flavor is rich and satisfying. The coffee/espresso doesn't taste cheap or burnt like we experienced with Amazon's brand espresso pods or Starbucks. We will DEFINITELY be purchasing these again! (As of now, April 2023, they're approx 1/2 the price of Nespresso)

Really nice!
It's a medium strength with full flavor and a rich crema. I am a Nespresso "snob" but this is really good. I can't give it a 5 star because every so often one of the capsule's jams and they can't be used. I also don't think they are recyclable like Nespresso and I don't know the long term effect on the machine due to the capsules having a different form, coffee powder and all. But taste wise, these are very good.

Very affordable and tasty decaf coffee pods!
We own a Nespresso Essenza Mini espresso machine. One of the main reasons we chose this machine over one of the newer and more high tech Nespresso Vertuo machines is that you don't have to pay the ridiculously high price of ordering OEM pods from Nespresso. I like having the option of buying and trying pods from different manufacturers, so that I can find the best brand that offers great taste at a reasonable price. I am very pleased with the Lavazza brand of decaf (and regular caffeinated) espresso pods. I've had no problems using these plastic pods in my Nespresso machine and I honestly can't tell the difference between this brand of decaf espresso and other more expensive brands. Granted, I am not an espresso connoisseur, so this is just my lay person's humble opinion.

Not really compatible with original nespresso
I should have read the most recent reviews... the capsule is not compatible. I turn on nespresso and get 1 good shot. I think because the machine has heated up, the subsequent capsules just pass through, so the coffee tastes more like Flavored water (likely because it does not flow through properly through the capsule). Ick. Don't buy this. I am going the other lungo is not so problematic. This is usually good/great coffee. They need to fix the mfg specs.

Fantastic flavor, poor crema
I have been drinking the Nespresso Ristretto decaf for years, but after trying the Lavazza espresso, I thought I'd try their decaf, too. I am admittedly a bit of a coffee snob, and I actually prefer these to the Nespresso decaf pods! The flavor is stronger than the decaf Nespresso, which I've always found to be a bit insipid, compared to their "full-caf" options. It's a smooth, bold flavor without any bitterness. The only downfall is that it doesn't get a great crema in comparison to the Nespresso decaf or even the Lavazza "full-caf." There's a little crema if you're drinking it straight, but it disappears quickly if cream is added. Similarly, I tried using it for an espresso martini - good flavor, zero crema after shaking.

This specific coffee has gotten worse over the years.
I have been buying this coffee since 2019 and it used to be good coffee for being decaf. However, since 2022 I noticed a change in the flavor and quality of the coffee. The coffee doesn't taste like it did 2-3 years ago. The coffee now taste rather bitter with a gross after taste that it has gotten so bad that I had to toss away the who pack of 60 pods. Terribly bad for a brand with a reputation like Lavazza which I tried many of its brand line coffees and they have all tasted good. The first time I tried this decaf version was when I ordered the variety pack which was still cheaper than the Nespresso variety brand. This Lavazza is still cheaper than the Nespresso but it is loosing its quality and flavor. Additionally, I noticed the box that has all the small boxes in has a different expiration date than the individual box. For example, the big box has an expiration date on April 30 2023 while the individual box of 10 pods has a 2024 expiration date which I find weird because I am not if the lot/batch will expire in 2023 or 2024. The quality for the price justifies the lack of flavor, consistency, and quality of this coffee. You are getting 60 pods for $25 or under which for me sounds a bit fishy. The flavor, quality and even the expiration date are quite questionable. I will not buy this brand again because I cannot tolerate the nasty after flavor it is leaving in my palate. Totally gross coffee I can tell right away it has been sitting on Amazon's warehouse for months if not years and that's why they sell it so cheap. If you are on a budget and don't care about the flavor and quality then go for it but if you can spend $20 more you might as well buy a better brand. I cannot say Nespresso is the best coffee out there because it is not we have to think these pods are made to last for years they are not made fresh. However, Nespresso at least has the quality and flavor in comparison to this one. Sit a moment and taste your coffee and see how it tastes after you drink it alone with no milk or sugar and see if you can taste a nasty aftertastes almost bitter and artificial flavor. If you do then you know what I am talking about. If you have tasted other brands and coffees you can tell the difference between a good coffee and a bad one. Good luck!

It's a decent coffee compared to what Nespresso offers - I tried their pods, which taste like cheap coffee. If you pay attention to how you insert the pods, they won't jam. I'll stick with these until I switch to regular ground coffee.

I like the brand but i feel there is less product in capsules. Had one box with few capsules broken. The full aroma from this brand is week when I know I have boughten this brand with all its aroma and vigour. The price is okay . I will continue my subscription till I see fit 🥴

This decaffeinated Coffee is good and always at a great price. Nespresso pods can be expensive but this is a delicious alternative.

I've tried several so called "Nespresso compatible" pods and this is about the best so far. The taste is good for a decaf coffee and the pods don't seem to completely screw up my Nespresso U machine like some of the others. The one shortcoming I find with it is that about 75% of the time, the pods don't automatically eject, so I have to do it manually. I can put up with that because the price is way lower than Nespresso. (59 cents/pod v's 83 cents/pod.
